i bought this game on febuary 24th 2007
when i got the game it had a new type of write protection, it activates like windows. but unlike windows it doesnt save activation data.
when i got the game i installed it an my son uninstalled it by accident
so it had one more time to activate, but my hard drive died on me so i got a new one.
since the 20th of febuary 2007 i waitin on technical support to giv em additional keys to use this game
it is now 31st march 2007 and i am still waitin on them to give me addtional keys
personally i think if u have a type of service like this it should have proper technical support
frustrated gamer

This game is fantastic but...
When you install the software, it asks you for the registration code printed on the DVD jewel case.
The software is then activated and gives you a response like:
Activations Left: 1
Yep. With the copy protection that is used, you can only install the software twice.
Technical support will give you additional keys, but I'm not happy with the fact that the software has to hit an activation server and can only be installed a certain number of times. I've never installed software that is this strong on copy protection. Apparently, the German version doesn't have this.
A couple of other thoughts.
Folks should know that the front screen has a woman dressed immodestly. Also, the lady drivers that you can choose as your avatar are dressed immodestly. If you look on the games forum for a posting by musclecarfreak, you will see him talk about a file called sponsormod. You can download this and replace the front screen with a car - much more modest. You can edit the drivers with a program like photoshop or the gimp. You need to save them as uncompressed after you are done editing them. This makes the game much more family friendly in my opinion.
