This game grabs you, hook line and sinker. Even my grandson loves it. He started playing when he was 5 and still plays every times he's here and he's 8 this month.
When will there be a Insaniquarium II(2)?

Addictive!

This is fun for the whole family. We have it loaded on 3 computers and we all play! My husband was sucked in as well. The virtual tank is not for everyone... you have to feed your fish almost daily. This is great in teaching the kids to be responsible. You DO NOT have to set up the virtual tank. Everyone can have their own profile. Great graphics and variety of play.

Just a little bit addicted...

The packaging and the disc came in perfect condition. The game is easy enough for my 5 year old to play and fun enough for me to play. The game starts out like it may be a little boring, but very soon you realize that its a startegy game more than anything else. You must attempt to pay attentionto all aspects of the tank at the same time while attempting to defend it also. I am 26 years old and am completely addicted to playing 'the fish game.'

Fun, addicitve, click fest

This is a fun, inexpensive little strategy game that has only one flaw... it's an insane click fest. Basically, you've got a fish tank and you must feed your fish to keep them alive by click on the screen to drop a food pellet. Dropping food pellets cost you money, so you must ration them (at least at the beginning of each level). But well-fed fish drop coins, you you must collect (again by clicking on them) to build your money supply. With more money you can by upgraded equipment with which to feed your fish and other types of fish that produce more money. Every couple of minutes your fish will be attacked by an alien, which you must shoot and kill before he eats all of your fish. The strategy comes when deciding how to spend your money to upgrade which pieces of equipment and weapons, buy more fish, fish producers, or fish that eat your other fish. You also have to choose at the start of each level which helper fish to have in your tank, all with different abilities. For example some collect coins for you while others protect your fish from aliens. The graphics are sound effects are cute and the game play is relatively simple, so this is a good game for kids and casual gamers. The one problem with the game is that the only interface is the mouse, so you will constantly clicking nearly as fast as you can for the duration of each level. It will give your wrist a workout, so take a break between levels!

I began playing the free version of this game online and that's how I became addicted. I just had to buy this game because I needed to play. It keeps your attention well, and the gameplay is ever changing. You never know what kind of alien is going to attack your tank next or you never know if you'll ever be able to make your fish quota because sometimes it's just so hard to raise your fish when you have aliens attacking all the time. Challenging but fun.

Neato Torpedo Review of insaniquarium

This game was great fun. The aliens were very interesting, and it was really cool when, as the game progressed, that one would have two aliens invading the tank at the same time. A Prego fish always adds up to a tankful of tiny little baby fish, and therefore some of the "friends" that can be added to the tank were very helpful. This is one of those games that someone playes until the finish, and then goes back for more. Personally, I thought that the timed trials were pretty neat, and I'm working on the challenge aquarium now, but so far it seems pretty cool. Great game overall!

Insaniquarium is a great game. It's very challenging to keep up with everything that's going on all at once. This game even has a virtual aquarium where you can buy fish and watch them grow. The only problem I have with this game is that I am so riveted to the screen while playing it that when I win the level I realize that my eyes are killing me!

Virtual Pets and Alien Visitors

Each level of Insaniquarium contains enough new surprises that it's hard to get bored with it. Whether you're charmed by guppies giving birth, coin- and shell-collecting jellyfish, singing mermaids or shoot-em-up aliens, you're sure to love the craziness of Insaniquarium.

My favourite section of Insaniquarium is the virtual fish tank, where you can purchase a variety of creatures, give them names, feed them, then watch them grow to produce shells which you can use to buy unusual and charming pets from the mermaid's store. The virtual tank can also be used for a cool screensaver and if you have the right combination of pets, you can keep collecting shells while the screensaver is operating.

Our whole family has enjoyed taking turns playing this game. Since we purchased it a few weeks ago, it has been played on a daily basis

The grandchildren can be entertained for hours with the fish and the grandparents can be driven insane trying to keep up with the pace the grandchildren can. This game is somewhat educational as far as sea life and the children never tire of it.
