Crash Bandicoot Warped is one of best playstation game I ever played. It is an enjoyable game, especially for kids. It's very fun to play. It ought to be very fun for kids who loves an adventure. This game is about Crash fighting villains in different time periods. Difference from previous Crash is that you can scuba dive and ride on a plane, motorcycle, tiger, and T-Rex. This game is defintely worth owning. If your looking for an adventurous game for kids, then get Crash Bandicoot Warped.

I would like to start by saying that this game has some of THE best grapics on any counsle on the market! This game also has great gameplay, snug control, and a storyline that would fit the taste of pretty much anyone who knows about the Crash Bandicoot series. The game also contains plenty of extras, such as gems, secret levels, and relics. It also has a comprehensive begining FMV seqence so everyone who plays the game will understand the plot. Overall, this game is a gem to be treasured on any gamers shelf.

Great game whether you're 8 or 80

I hadn't played a video game to any extent for probably 15 years when my son got this game given to him by my nephew last year. He loved it and immediately started playing it, so I checked it out. I quickly became completely hooked. I have now beat all the boss levels and are going back and cleaning up the gems and relics.

And that leads me to my second point. One of the best things about the game is that, even after you beat the game, there is still a lot to do. At each level, you collect boxes; you can get through the level fairly easily (thus earning the crystal), but even then there are still several goals at each level. Each level also have one or more gems (which you earn by collect all the boxes), and several relics (which you collect by getting through the level in a certain period of time). These are not easy! I beat the game (i.e. got all the crystals) within several weeks of playing the game; but I am still (months later) only up to 50% on the gems and relics. You certainly get your money's worth from this game, even more than the previous Crash title (Crash 2). Of course, it's got many secret levels and other hidden goodies as well.

As far as family-friendliness, it's lower than Crash 2, but still quite high on the scale. Crash does wield a gun, which bothered me a little. But there are two compensating factors: (1) the gun shoots fruit, not bullets; and (2) none of the foes are human, either animal or robot (when you get to the bonus world you discover that the bad guys that look like humans are actually robots - you see their assembly line). It looks like the game designers went out of their way to avoid having you shoot at other people, which I for one greatly appreciate. Like the other Crash games, the vast majority of the foes are either vanquished by jumping on them or "spin-moving" or "sliding" them (both of which just knock the opponent out of the way), or you simply escape from them. There are also the TNT boxes, which you jump on then have 3 seconds to escape before they explode. There are a few cases where you need to get rid of foes using the TNT boxes. Like the previous Crash games, the violence that is in the game is very comical, however, with no blood or gore.

The graphics are a bit dated (being from the late 90's). Some kids may thus turn up their noses at the game. That's unfortunate, because it's a great game. Only playing the newest, latest thing is both expensive and gives short-lasting pleasures.

Will adults like it? I don't know, but they should: In my view, games unsuitable for kids are not actually suitable for anybody. In any case, *this* adult certainly does like it.

Get it, whether you're 8 or 80. You won't regret it.

One of the best games!

I'm way far in this game (104%, to be exact) and let me tell you it is so AWESOME! It's got exiting new levels, rideable baby T-rexes, a fruit bazooka, speed shoes...it just never ends! And for all you Coco fans out there, in some levels you can actually BE Coco and ride her loveable tiger, Pura. She even takes place in her own secret level, Hot Coco! Crash Bandicoot fans, go buy this game!

Great graphics, variety and fun fun fun

Crash Bandicoot Warped is unbelievably fun and addictive. I love that you can choose from 5 worlds in each level, so that you don't get burned out and frustrated trying to make it through the same level over and over. It's easy enough to not be intimidating, yet just challenging enough to keep you coming back. Lots of humor and many MANY different ways for Crash to die will make this a wonderfully entertaining addition to your collection.

Playstation heaven!

Crash warped was really neat. Though it was very similar to all the other crashes it was my favorite. This time you get new villians and new partners. I enjoyed this game alot. And now that its price has lowered I may even buy it. Though it was similar it was sure different. I would compare this game to Bugs Bunny lost in time, because if you like that game you are going to like this. You see I can't tell you wether to buy it or not but it sure kept me up all night trying to beat this game.

Crash Warped is for the more daring Crash Players. There is five different warp rooms. In each warp room there is five levels, when you get each levels crystal you then have to defeat the boss. In Warp room 1 the Boss is Tiny Tiger. In warp room 2 the Boss is Dingodile. In the 3 warp room the Boss is N.Tropy and so on.

Much better than the original Crash, good job!

When I first played this game I was expecting it to be far better than the original and I was right. However, the graphics are the same old, where you don't have enough 3D perception to move Crash the right distance and a few of the levels are repetitive, but every other aspect of the game has improved greatly. This game will give you hours of gaming fun, unlike the first one, which you can beat in a couple of days. It is not frustrating at all, and the game takes full advantage of the vibration function, especially while motorcycling down Route 66 or flying a biplane. You can even play as Coco, Crash's little sister. Do yourself a favor and add this game to your Play Station library!
