The Best Playstation Game I Have Ever Played!

I really enjoyed Driver 1, but Driver 2 is the best game I've ever played. I really enjoy the awesome graphics, the new locations where you can drive, and the new game strategies. I love how you can get out of your own car and steal someone else's! The graphics are outrageously great!!! I love how you can drive in las vegas, rio, chicago, etc... Driver 2 deserves 5 stars!!!

Hello, old chap, i say im pretty sure you would be looking at this little entertainer because you like driving simulators. I think this game is a wicked gig because it actually challenges you. it is not just something where you push left and right and it goes. the fun part of the game is the freedom. you get to walk around the streets on take a ride mode, and if it's a car, you can drive the thing. even a copcar if its not on the road but parked on the side. You can run up to a civillian car and they will stop. just steal it. there are also secret cars, areas, cities and cheats and a racetrack minigame to be unlocked.
there are wicked driving games like getaways, gate racing, car chase, trailblazer(hitting cones in a time limit), survival. THe game itself is hard hard hard so dont rent it buy it you will take a while to finish the around ten missions of each four cities( i mean around ten missions per city)Your character is tanner an undercover cop. you will be chase by gangs of Jericho and Cain who you must stop and destroy. Alright enough said, this is enough to convince u im sure. Buy it.

This game is the bomb, it lets you live out all your road rage fantasies, and is much more entertaining than a boring racing game. You can just cruise around the city and steal other peoples vehicles, buses, and armored vehicles and jump off bridges and stuff. Its very fun and challenging.

This game is real good. Some parts are hard, but with pacience and skill they'll be pass. Maybe if you don't know how to drive may be difficult at first. The best thing in this game is that you will be able to do whatever you want. You can steal cars, scare people, destroy and feel that you are better than the cops when you get lost. The people that don't like this game is because they like easy games for littles. If you want to feel free and bad in streets buy this and you will see.

This game works off the same premise as the original but brings it to the extreme. This game has four totally new cities and all new cars. You can get out of your car and steal cars and trigger buttons, for example: in chicago you can get out of your car and hit the action button at the ticket booth which causes wrigley field opens up so you can do doughnuts around the pitcher's mound. This game is jsut absolutly amazin and will most likely be one of the top seller's this holiday season.

This is the best Driver yet.I just got it yesterday but so far it hase been realy ext remly cool.I recomend this game to any body that likes the origanal 'Driver'.So you bet ter buy this game before they are all sold out.

The 1st Driver was no doubted;ly a great game. However there was room for improvement so they came out with driver 2. This game is great. The curved roads isnt what makes them great. Yes the game has choppy graphics and ... loading times but the game makes it worth it. The cinematics are the best playstation has to offer. But the best part is the 4 hidden cars in each of the level. IM talking abut the Mini Coop in Havana, The SEmi in RIO, The lowrider picup in las vegas, and you remember that car in the back of the case on driver1 well thats the hidden car in chicago. If i were you and i loved driver 1 Id buy this game without a question.

Tanner Is Way Too Slow!

Yep, I loved Driver and I also enjoy Driver 2, but what happened to the game play? I can't hardly do any of the undercover missions because it either slows down or completely stops for a second during a chase and resumes. Has anyone else experience this? I don't know if they thought this game was for Playstation 2 and accidently put Playstation on it or what happen, but the frame rate is horrible. I am surprised they would release something like this without testing it.

Don't get me wrong, the game is a wonderful game and all the ideas are there, but if you are a core game player and really like car games etc. you may be dissappointed in the frame rate and glithcy game play. I really don't know how this plays on Playstation 2, but with Playstation (which is what I have) it was slightly dissappointing.

OK kids here is the Real Don Steal. Remember in the first game when you got to LA and it was always raining. Remember how hard it was to drive the car and how much the Frame rate slowwed down due to the increase in activity on the screen i.e. more than 3 cars with in 10 feet of yours. Well sit down and buckle up cause the entire game of Driver 2 is like that. I played this game and when I put the controller down all I could say was WOW 32 bits have reached their limits. This game is like trying to play a PC game with mondo graphics on a 486. Bottem line It sux. Do not ruien that warm fuzzy felling you have for the first game by buying the second.

I played the first game and loved it so I bought the seconed one .Just the thought of running from cops and stealing cars is pretty cool.The missions are fun but hard and take many restarts.But in the end this game is the best.
