Fun for a party or a laugh.

I got this game as a gag for Christmas. I don't own the first one so I cannot compare the two. Not a game for kids! But my wife and her sister (and I) enjoy the questions and the mini-games. However, as another reviewer wrote, there are not enough questions in the game. I suppose that's why chef does not give the answers. I also don't like how the same contestant may get the bonus questions whether they're winning or losing. The mini-games are a hoot though. I wish they would have a mode to allow play against computer-kids (in the event, such as we are in, that you only have 2 controllers). A definite must for a party though. It's a lot of laughs, if you can stand the language.

FUN FUN FUN

An entertaining game using the South Park Characters. The questions aren't that hard. And the games are fun, play as one player first, you get more different types of games.

YOU HAVE TO LOVE SOUTH PARK TO ENJOY THIS GAME

If you don't love South Park you will not like this game! If you love South Park you will like this game. The trivia questions are sometimes hard. The games are kind of lame but funny and remind me of the old atari games. The characters talk like they do in the show and a lot of the questions are about the show. If you dont watch South Park dont buy this game you probably wont find the humor in it.

I dig it.

I don't know about you, but one of my big pet peeves is going to a friend's where someone is playing a game and having to watch someone else have fun all night because only one person can play or the game takes forever. I brought this game over to a friend's where there were a bunch of people, and we were all playing it all night. I like the balance of trivia and games, since some people (like me) are better at trivia, and others are better at the mini-games. One weak spot is that there needs to be more questions. Another is that there should be some option where you can just play the mini-games without the trivia. But overall, this is a fun, quick game that a lot of different people can play, and you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure it out.

Don't Bother, No really!

This is the worst video game I've seen in long time. Not only is the game nullifying boring with arcane questions about unrelated and meaningless trivia subjects, it also fails on a technical level, as you have to wait for it to load from the PlayStation CD Rom frequently throughout the game. The brief South Park moments are nothing special either, with hardly any actual humor, but just canned Kyle and Cartman messages. The bonus games are moronic. The concept is good, but the execution fails on every count.

Maybe on another system....

I must say, this game is a great idea. The games are fun and everything is in the traditional South Park mayhem, mixed with retro-arcade games like Asteroids. Beware of the Playstation version! The loading time makes the game almost unplayable.

Better than you think.

This game is fairly good. I am going to write this review in Pros and Cons formation.

Pros:
Contains real voices from Trey Parker, Matt Stone, and the infamous Isaac Hayes.

Doesn't take too long to load. (WHAT OTHERS DON'T THINK)

Very funny mini games! (BAD KITTY)

Cons:
Gets some-what boring after a while.

Questions can be repeated during extended play.

Graphics look computer-drawn.

Overall, the game is pretty good, but only for South Park fans. It may be entertaining, but it has earned an M rating. Don't leave the package aroung children.

Thanks.

Unexciting

This is nothing more than trivia on South Park. A few very lame games are thrown is as "Bonus rounds". Very unexciting, and lame. As soon as I turned it on I regretted spending the money to rent it.

This game is mildly fun...for about 30 minutes. Of course, it takes nearly that long to load any of the trivia rounds or mini-games. The questions are repeated frequently and overall this game is not the least bit challenging. Trust me, rent it first and if you play it for a few hours you'll get all you can out of the game so don't waste your money on buying your own!

Could Be Better

Good idea, but somewhat disappointing...There aren't enough questions per round, if you get a question wrong, chef does not tell you the correct answer, if you play twice in a row, you get repeat questions. But the mini games are lots of fun - some (if not all) are take-offs of other classic video games; although some are pretty difficult.
