Whoever said this game is bad for children is wrong. Not only does it teach children to accuratly shot humans with very percise aim, it also shows how tear gas and stun guns work. This is a very educational game and it is very fun and entertaining. The only downfall is tht it is a very very tough game to beat.

should get the deth penalty not life

this game is a real insult to gta (grand theft auto).the grafics are horible the gameplay is crap. have you seen the ai? they must have dropped out of special ed class in elementry. they shoot eachother and set themselves on fire. the game just plain sucks. oh did i mention sterio types? a bunch of white wanabe rapper develapers try to act like they know street lingo which they don't. the game is just full of bing bling,f words and poor voice acting. for example:you better get flowers and a funeral because im comming. what the hell was that? you call that voice acting? well the point is don't buy it or rent it. do yourself a fave and buy a gta game. trust me you will thank yourself.

Parents, this game scores points for shooting cops and more points if you grab an innocent person off the street and use them as a human shield.

It's nothing phenomenal.
We have seen these types of games come and go for years.
The multiplayer aspect is neat - you can just kind of hang out in a virtual hood w/ the homies and all that. What bugs me is the maps are toooo small!!!!

A quick message to the concerned parents out there.
Do you find that you have to convince yourself you are smarter than the public pretty often?
Does technology confuse you and drive you to call tech support?
Do you believe in legislating morality?
If you mentioned yes - then you are an idiot.
That's right. The sheltered life and naive philosophies have left you intellectually stunted.
Please stop trying to enforce your political views on the world!
You are being taken advantage of by rabble rousers - because you are rabble....The angry mob. The people who killed frankenstien and jesus. You must realize you are not educated and not worldly.
Thanks for repeatedly burying emerging technology and starting wars based on your beliefs, burning witches for the sake of the children and basically being anti-social wierdos who think videos, music, games and art damage the fabric of society more than your aggressive hate campaigns.
thank you.

Help Protect our Children and our Officers: Ban Eidos' "25 to Life"©

Our goal is 50,000 signatures.
We now have 72,909. We met our original goal of 17,500 in less than two weeks... and now we've surpassed 50,000! We're not done yet!

In response to a notice from game manufacturer Eidos, that the "25 to Life"© video game was being shipped to U.S. markets beginning January 17, the NLEOMF is mounting a vigorous campaign to discourage parents and caregivers from purchasing or allowing children access to the violent video game. We are gravely alarmed by the violent nature of this game and believe that any type of media that glorifies violence against law enforcement or civilians should be carefully scrutinized.

The "25 to Life"© video game allows players the option to role-play by shooting gang members and police officers and using innocent bystanders as human shields. The Web site advertising the game boasts that players have "more than 40 weapons to choose from, including shotguns, machine guns, stun guns and tear gas."

Due to the disturbing nature of the game, last fall high-profile law makers and citizens protested its release, which the NLEOMF believes helped to delay its entry into the U.S. market. Although the manufacturers have chosen to release the game this year, YOU can help limit its access to the young minds that this game will be promoted to.

The NLEOMF aims to collect 17,500 signatures, in support of a petition to take the game out of U.S. stores. This figure represents approximately the number of officers whose names are permanently inscribed on the Walls of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, and symbolizes the grave consequences of violent behavior toward officers.

Our culture is saturated with violent images in all types of media, but games like "25 to Life"© are especially dangerous because they're driven by the thrill of the kill. The images are wrong. The messages are wrong. And stocking it in U.S. stores is wrong. Do your part in keeping our children and our officers safe; sign the petition today.

Petition:

I support the ban of Eidos' "25 to Life©," believing that its violent nature represents a threat to our children and our law enforcement officers. I petition to have the game removed from the U.S. market.
