What's with all the blackness in the game!

I can't see two feet in front of my character,it's too dark I keep running in to walls and cliffs and my brightness on the tv is turned all the way up. I don't know if there using that to make it scarier or what. The bird in this game seems to be a waste of time to mess with, takes to long to get to the tree limbs you want it to fly to. Just another average game, I wish these company's that make these games would come up with some original ideas. Hack n slash = Boring.

Mark of Kri - A Disney Movie for the sick and twisted

The only problem with this game is the camera angles. In the game you play a young, but quite large Samuri warrior with the ability to bash his enemies heads with his hands, drive his sword blade into the necks of his victims, and kill his foes from afar with a bow and arrow.

I have only had this game for a few days and I have found it to be quite addictive.

The graphics are similar to some recent Disney Movies, but the blood and gore is similar to that of most bloody horror films.

I strongly recommend this game. Of the last 10 PS2 games that I have played this would rank on top.

Cartoony look, terrible control, shocking violence, repetitive gameplay. The cutscenes are hand drawn still pictures. The main character -Rau- is difficult to move about and he gets stuck on everything. Collision detection is terrible. And as for the "innovative" fight controls, it amounts to little more than button mashing. Halfway through the second "mission" -walk along and kill everyone you come across- your sword begins to get stuck in something every time you swing it. Frustrating, dull, and stupid. I quit.

Great game but a little short

WOW what a pleasure it was to play this game. The fighting in this game is great you can do so much more when you can lock onto your enemy. The only down fall is it seems a little short or maybe I was just so into the game I didn't realize how long I played it for.

an awesome, bloody game!

When I first played this game, I had my doubts about it. I thought it was going to be a super in-depth RPG(personally, I don't really like those types of games). But, man was I wrong. This game has elements of both genres, acton/adventue and RPG. With an involving story, and excellent control, "The Mark of Kri" would be a great addition to anyone's PS2 library.

You're a warrior, a rookie at best... Now trained in the arts of combat, you itch to kill and use what you've learned in the field. You're a bit naive and dull witted, however you're kind and willing to help anyone that's in need.

Over the game is fun and interesting, especially the tied in of the story line (told through the point of Kuzo). However the fighting can become repetitive over time. Through stealth, and will power, you're to stop an evil madman and bring peace to the world. Not to mention rescuing your sister.
