Fighting computer viruses the hard way!

4 Rating: 4, Useful: 0 / 0
Date: April 13, 2006
Author: Amazon User

This is another gem I found while collecting and playing old nes games. In a nut shell, someone or "something" has broken into
the computer of a huge military defense system. If nothing is done, the defense system will fire nuclear missles and reduce the earth to a wasteland.

That's were our hero comes in;soldier and computer expert O'Conner is hooked up to a brainwave transfer system that allows
his mind to become a physical manifestation inside the computer.
This allows him to combat the viruses and virtual soldiers taking over the military weapon's CPU.Though the brainwave system is not yet fully tested, there is no other alternative.
The result is O'Conner being transfered as a phantom mask wearing, blood red blade hair flinging (yes, you kill enemies by slashing them with your hair) samurai ninja dude.

The music is really good, the gameplay is fun (you collect computer data to become stronger) and the level by level story is interesting. While I haven't beaten the game yet, stage 3 reveals an interesting cinema of his body rejecting the exposure
to the brainwave system and being in critical condition. So I'm curious to see how everything plays out.

Another terrific game to add to your nes collection.Very original!
