Okay, I love pokemon. Always have. This is a great game that I would suggest to anyone that like RPGs. I have played the old ones, and, even if they don't vary much, it's like updating your game. It was great.

Pearl/Diamond makes for a really fun pokemon game on the DS. Its fun to train pokemon, trade, and try to catch em' all. Even though at its core it really is the same game as the others, it's still fun and I highly recommend it.

This game is for Nintendo DS. However, in the Amazon site I searched for Pokeman Pearl for Gameboy Advanced and that is what came up. Assuming that since I search for a gameboy game I purchased the game. Come Christmas morning my children quickly informed me that Santa had gotten the wrong game. I will now try to return it for a refund.

If you like RPG's, it does not matter how young or old you are, this is a fun game.

Pearl is a time consuming and addictive game. It appears to involve considerable strategy and requires high level thinking to play well. It is not a simple motor skills game.

Both games are great. My grandson plays them side by side as he has two DS and he says playing against each other is fun.
