HORRIBLE!

1 Rating: 1, Useful: 4 / 25

This game is absolutely horrible. I bought this game and I was so excited to get it. When I put the game in the system and began playing it I was shocked. Not a good shocked either. This game does not have good graphics at all. It isn't fun either. There is also no contest in this game because they give you Class A cars when you put the thing in. I have played racing games on Super Nintendo that were more fun than this.

This game is also unrealistic. When you crash into something the car bounces right back. It doesn't even stall! There also are no dents, bumps, or scratches on it neither. I wouldn't have bought this game if it was free. Now I'm out of fifty bucks to put forward to my new computer.

I hope this review gets posted so no one buys this horrible game.

STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED!

Looks nice, plays terrible.

Sure it looks nice. However, it plays really terrible. I was a pretty big fan of PGR 1, but I couldn't get into this one.
I tried the test drive on all the starting cars.
But, none of them felt reasonable.
Some games inspire you to get better at it. This one just beat me down. I don't have time for such games. If you can't get me hooked in 20 minutes, I'm not interested.

Skinny Puppy Is On The Soundtrack

So yet again the videogame industry shows even more irresponsibility. Project Gotham Racing 3 contains a soundtrack with a song from Skinny Puppy, a group that did a mock assassination of president Bush onstage and put it on sale as a DVD. Do you feel that this company and Microsoft are being responsible in promoting this band by putting their songs in their games? I don't think so. Send a message to the videogame industry. Don't buy it.

Game does not work outside of US!!!

We could not get this game to work so we obviously did not have much fun with this game. I bought this game as birthday present for my sister's boys in Sweden. They have an Xbox 360. Unfortunately they could never use the game because of some idiotic limitation built by Microsoft in not allowing US Xbox 360 games to work on European Xbox 360 machines and vice versa. Amazon site and product info there does not make that clear at all. I had no idea. There is no way of knowing this. I think this stinks. My sister's boys were really dissappointed in not being able to play this game and the game sits now and collects dust. They and I are very upset.

A racer...but not the winner.

The game stands out for its improved graphics I must say. However, this particular game isn't the winning racer for me. The variety of luxurious cars was pretty good, however it was the game play that really bombed. The hits cars take from each other was a little bit too "weak" and unrealistic. When a car bumps into another it wipes out very quickly, which seems unrealistic again (unless someone can verify that realism by driving over 170 mph on the streets).

I wasn't impressed much, the online game play against other races wasn't too bad and might be worth added to how the graphics are to score some pointers for the game, but it just wasn't all that. One thing that would be great is if the cars were customizable. But in this game, what car you buy is what you get, nothing to customize. Even a Grand Turismo (best racing simulator in my opinion) you can customize some aspects of the car, but not in PGR 3.

This game wasn't a seller, so I traded it back to get Need for Speed Most Wanted, which I must say would be much more my type of racing game. Overall, not that impressive of a racing game unless you just want to watch the 'stock' cars racing on your TV instead....

Bummer

I saw videos and screenshots for this game and I was excited. I finally got the game and I was shocked. The graphics were good, and there are lots of cars, but you can't upgrade and/or customize them. Driving is very difficult, especially compared to other racing games!
Need for Speed Underground 2 is a lot better, and how much older is it???
It is much better to buy NFS Most Wanted (my favorite) or NFS Carbon... EA is still winning the battle of the racing games.

better run boy

I think this game is bo.k. I think it doesnt quite do its job. I think project gotham racing is a wannabe. I think he needs to get a real job. I think this broke very soon after i got mad at it. I think this won't play in most cd players. i think the cover looks stupid. i think it gave me the idea to paint my car black and go around screaming danunununununun BATMAN! i think art is stupid. I think i don't recommend this but i sort of do. I think ive said enough. I think i haven't said enough. I think some people will read this. I think some won't. I think some people need to buy this. I think some won't. I think im almost done. I think some won't. I think ive said enough

Lousy Lousy Lousy- NOT your PGR2

Just an empty shell of a game. I am dumbfounded how they could have ruined it from PGR2? Online Cat & Mouse is useless, and the Last Man Standing just doesn't cut it. All the cars drive the same, the graphics are hard to see the road from the deep shadows- its just a mess.

Way too hard

This game is so hard it takes away any fun. Its like people play games for recreation to have fun and relax not to be stressed out because the game is so hard its just like work instead of play. And also another thing that is bothersome in this game is that it is filled with long loading screens.

Is it fun?

Is it fun? YEs. Should you buy it? Well if you need a racer at launch. Truly this is a beautiful game that you will only experience on the xbox 360. The graphics are definately better on the xbox 360. Want to drive down close to picture perfect replicas of vegas and other major cities? Get this game. Want an ultra realistic racer? Do not get this game. Want a game that is not completely realistic but which makes the game playable and fun? Get this game. Want unparalleled graphics in a racing game? Buy this game and use the view from inside the car. It is incredible. Is this game more fun than Burnout? Nope. Is it more pretty? Yep.

Bottom Line: Is it worth the buy? If you can't live without a racer. If you can, Perfect Dark and Kameo are way more fun.
