Good Action, music and scares!

Jurassic Park has excellent graphics for snes game especially when you switch to the vision goggles, the music is great and the dinosaurs look fairly realistic for video games. It builds a lot of suspense because you never know when a dinosaur, T-rex or raptors, might pop up at you.

Awesome game with great sound FX

This is a cool game! There is a top-down perspective when you're exploring the outside area. When you go in buildings, it switches to a 3D first-person perspective. Graphics in this game are quite good. The dinosaurs look extremely good. But the sweetest thing about this game is the sound...in FULL DOLBY SURROUND SOUND! Not many games on the SNES had surround sound (the only other game I can think of that does is Super Turrican).

DREADFUL GAME

Why do I rate this game 1 star? There are several reasons. First and foremost, there is NO SAVEPOINT. In short, you'll have to beat this game in ONE SITTING. Talk about patience. The second major problem that I have with this game is that it is trying to do too much. It is a top-down shooter AND a first-person shooter. The graphics in the top-down mode are fine, but the graphics and textures in FP mode are DREADFUL. Doom has FAR better variety, texture-wise. Personally, I got headaches after playing in FP mode after 30 minutes--and remember, you can't save. So the bottom line is this, if you want to kill dinosaurs, I'd recommend Jurassic Park for the old NES and the Carnivores series for PC. N64 has a Turok the Dinosaur Hunter series out. Pass this game, you'll be glad you did.

prepare for disappointment

This game could have been a lot worse, but is definitely not a first reccomendation. For one thing the first-person view indoors is not very good, but that is not the worst part, because the gameplay is not bad. The biggest disappointment with the game is that you spend hours beating it, doing all the objectives in order, and you get the worst, most disappointing ending in video game history. A black screen that simply says "you have escaped from jurassic park" Gee, thanks feelas, we didnt know thats what it meant when we got in the helicopter and flew away.
