I believe that the people who say that this game has not improved over GRAW are being to hard. The graphics are better, the gameplay is better, and the stratagy is better. GRAW 2 is a blast to play alll around.

GRAW2 Is A Deep Simulation Into a Warzone

Regardless of what people say GRAW2 can easily be considered one of the best games ever made. After buying a used version of the first one (which I still play) I knew that I would be dropping 60 dollars the first day it came out which I did. When I started playing I did'nt stop until I ran into a seriously hard part and gave up. This is one of the most realistic games ive ever played, the ability to command a 3 man squad an to help with firefights is amazing. You are really looking through a soldiers eyes and all of the visuals and sounds are on point it really feels like you are in the middle of an intense firefight, now i understand how they feel in Iraq! It keeps you in suspense the whole time because your enemies come from everywhere, snipers, grunts, you name it they're coming at you and hard. The weapons are completley different than in any other game as far as realism, there's even one gun with a camera in it so that you can hide and look around walls without compromising your safety. The new features are damn sexy, you can now watch through the eyes of your team members as they execute any moves you command them to do, which makes the team combat in single player mode a blast to play, you have to be careful and quick with the trigger to make it through a lot of the situations. Buy this game along with GRAW 1 if you dont have it you will not be disappointed. XBOX live will keep you up all night and day battling against human opposition. The XBOX 360 really displays how amazing technology is, and this is the game to prove it, SCREW GEARS OF WAR (WHICH IS THE WORST GAME EVER MADE) GRAW 2 DESERVES GAME OF THE YEAR!!

A disgrace to the Clancy games

2 Rating: 2, Useful: 1 / 11

This game is terrible. The controls are counterintuitive and inconsistent. the motion (specifically of aiming) is very sluggish and frustrating. Also, the campaign has way too much talking and extra little things going on. If you want a sweet Clancy combat game, go for Rainbow Six Vegas. It is fifty times better.

A bit better than the first, TERRIBLE REPRESENTATION OF FT BLISS / EL PASO / JUAREZ

4 Rating: 4, Useful: 0 / 2

To be perfectly honest, the single player of this game is almost identical to the first. The graphics are a bit better, AI is better, etc, basically, take the first game and improve it slightly in all aspects.

The multiplayer is great, much better than the first. My main complaint is the obvious lack of research done about the area.

Let me first say that I'm from NY and this game depicts El Paso as I imagined it before actually going there. The game makes El Paso look like a small town...it's actually a big city with over 700,000 people. Ft Bliss is LITERALLY in the middle of the city, 5min from the downtown skyscrappers and right next to a large shopping mall. Juarez is home to almost 2 million people, it is densely packed and literally adjacent to el paso.

As a soldier stationed at Ft Bliss I'd like to point out that army posts look NOTHING like what the game shows. Ft Bliss has plenty of buildings, monuments, etc, it's actually quite nice looking.

My main complaint is that although the game is fun, it shows a real lack of effort considering the terrible representation of ft bliss, juarez and el paso.

A killer game! You must buy!

First of which I think this game is absolutely amazing! This is a true indictaor that sequels can be better than the original. I will organize my review for your convienience.

1. Gameplay: This game is one of the best squad based shooters I have ever played. This game is alot more realistic than the first. The left-bumper "aggression" control actually changes the actions of your team. In recon mode, you can get you squad behind cover while the enemies are potrolling the area and catch them off guard with a shower of machine gun fire. they will scramble for cover every time. The designers definetely make you use all aspects of the game: Support, Medics, Crosscom 2.0 and new weapons to name a few.
2. Graphics: Hands down this is one of the current best graphics winner for sure! One can easily appreciate the beutiful weather and battle effects, bilboards and even the flags realisticly wave in the win. The plyers and vehicles look outstanding and attention is paid even to the guns.
3. selection: Great selection of weapons. My favorite is the Rx4 Storm. It will serve you well as long as you use ammo wisley.
4. Complaints: As you have noticed, I gave this game a 4. Unfortunetely there are still ome things I see wrong. For example, throwing grenades behind cover is like suicide because you still cant throw over your cover without exposing yourself. Next, I don't like the way day comes super fast and night comes slowly. It will be pitch black and you will nedd night vision, then suddenly, everything gets blury; the sun has risen. My biggest complaint is the achievement system. You no longer get points for getting each mission complete. You get points for finishing " Acts" ACT?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is not a play, it is a game!!!!!! I cant stand this. After an hour of completing mission, killing coutless mexicans (sorry guys) and such, I don't even get points for that. Also, it may be just me but Mitchell has a very long head with his helmet. He lokks like Hey Arnold at war or something!

G.W.A.R. has no idea how to make an enjoyable co-op

Don't get me wrong, I really loved playing Rainbow Six Vegas and I can't wait for another game like that, but G.W.A.R. has simply not been fun for me.

First off, although the box says "co-op" there is no cooperative single-player campaign. Instead, you set up a single-map with different rules and such. This was a big let-down for me because co-op campaigns are my favorite games to play.

Since GWAR doesn't seem to know what an enjoyable co-op is, I'm going to stop buying any of the future GWA games and spend my money instead on well-done co-ops like Army of Two.

Short but sweet

As games go, you can't look much prettier than this game, and besides Gears of War i believe this game takes the cake as prettiest game on the 360. But as we all know graphics are not what makes a game, its the gameplay. so does the game play as well as it looks? Well, did you like the original advanced warfighter? that should answer the question if you'll like this one cause the game is pretty much the same gameplay, with new missions and tweaks in the graphics. although i have to admit the developers did fix a lot of the quirks in the first game. the unit movement screen is a lot better now where you can actually control your team mates better. and as a whole the AI is much better than the original.

but as we all know the game doesnt really shine untill you try multiplayer. the single player game although fun is over pretty much as soon as it begins. i beat the game my first play though in less than 4 hours easily. now i know there are higher difficulty levels and the sort, but if you are not a live subscriber or dont have access to the internet at home, i would say this game is not worth more than a rental unless you like playing the same missions over and over again. this is why i give this game 4 stars instead of five.

in conclusion, although this game is more of an evolution in graw gameplay intstead of a revolution in gameplay, the outstanding multiplayer modes and gameplay, this should keep live subscribers occupied for a while. and for the single player gamers, a rental or two should give you a weakend of fun.

glad I rented it...

Heard this was a short game, so I rented it from Blockbuster for 7 bucks, finished it in about 4 nights (Probably 9 hours). Games are becoming increasingly short and/or unchallenging nowadays... That said, the game is a lot of fun, but not for sale at 60 bucks!
