I Spent The Best Years of My Life Playing This Game...

Ok, you scoffers at home who may say to yourself "Why in the WORLD would I want to buy this obsolete old game from ten years ago?". Well, first of all, you have to understand, when I first played this game as a budding pre-teen, these graphics were beyond belief. This was the best that I had seen at that time. Also, the feel and atmosphere of this game is just amazing. You'll find yourself completely immersed in the story. Also, it has a very dark, noir-style cinematography to it. It's a VERY fun game to play! A brand-new game for a brand-new system isn't always the best option. I had so many many hours of fun sitting at home, playing this game, and listening to the radio for the current bands of the day like Soul Asylum and Counting Crows (Yes, I'm THAT old), and I'd grab this game again in a heartbeat. Just to show you how awesome this game was, it was one of the only SNES games that was so great that there was an edition created for the Sega Genesis too! Oh man, I'm driving myself nuts. I'm gonna grab a copy of this while there's still time!!!

Very fun entertaining side scroller, very original

Out Of this World, as well as its cousin genre, Flashback, are in my opinion the two funnest games that I have ever played for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. OOTW, is a game in which you are working on an experiment in your basement and an electrical problem occours. Literally, your body dissapears into your computer and then silence falls upon you. Your are cast down as a slave in a strange new world. You must fight your way back home. You are plunged into a world of danger with things trying to kill you constantly, a man vs. man, as well as man vs. nature complex into play. You and your laser pistol are all that save you from the outside world. These two titles I have mentioned are very hard to come across, I found Out of this world in a sale box but now you have the privlage of buying it off Amazon[.com]. Flashback is going to be hard to find.

If you didn't play this game then you are missing a lot.Beautifull action blended with adventure, puzzle and strategy all in one.The graphics art and ambient atmosphere of the game is masterpiece of its own. It's like a movie.Games like these are not made anymore, made from personal urge and not for maxing the profits. 2-D games rocks!!! This game was created by Eric Chahi (Delphine software-France).You should also check these similar titles: FLASHBACK ; FADE TO BLACK ; HEART OF ALIEN ; HEART OF DARKNESS.(Check gamefaqs.com for detailed games infos and walktroughs).

This game is one of the hardest games I've ever played..and because of the insanely high difficulty level, I knocked it 2 stars. when you die, which you will (many, many times) you start over at the beginning of the level. This got old fast. Also, it's not always clear where you're supposed to go in the game. Another irritating thing is the controls, which are sometimes unresponsive which can leave you impaled or shot. luckily you have infinite lives.

the graphics are impressive and very fluid, it has a good score and a good story. The ending pissed me off. the only way I was able to finish this game was with passwords, and the ending just made me want to break the game

I love this game!!!!!

Well, to be honest with you the grahpics for this game are reallyyyyy not so great...actually...But I LOVE the...graphics!!!!! I don't know..I'm just a cheesy person and I think things like these are really hilarious and cool. I don't realy think this game is hard...but its hard for me...Okay, so far from what I've learned, the game is about this guy..he works in a building or something and somehow gets warped into another demension. He then appears underwater, where u start to play. You swim up to the top and thats where you begin ur game. You walk around a bit, avoiding these snake like things, and then you meet up with this black beast thing, where u run away from it but then crash into these alien kind of things that shoot you. It's not pretty, lol...then you're locked up in a cage with this guy who looks like a huge marshmellow, yet not as cute as...Kurby, perhaps? Well, then the rest of the story is just about you trying to escape, and the alien people follow you...and blah blah. Its really funny, if you're into the stupidness of a game :).

But overall, I really like it, but thats just my opinion.
