A good game made even better

As soon as I saw that one of my favorite games (Empire Earth) had an expansion pack I took out Empire Earth and played it for an hour of two to see what they might have added. There could be plenty of things that they added like:

-New Civs
-Paratroopers
-New missions
-More upgrades

If you have played and finished at least one of the four campaigns in Empire Earth then you will most likely want to get this game. Even though I haven't played it (or bought it for that matter), this looks like a really cool expansion to a great game. Although I wouldn't go so far as to give 5 stars to a game I don't even have.

So much potential

I bought this game about 6 months ago and have been glued to it. It's near perfect, but there are a few problems. First, there is a limit to how many units you can have that is way too small. It makes it very difficult to cretae full-scale battles when you can only have 1200 units on the field. Also, the Scenario Editor is very hard to understand. I still don't know how to change the na,es of units or how to make the computers units stand still for awhile.Another problem is the lack of campaigns. There are enough to keep you busy but they soon diminish.
The good things about this game are numerous. First of all, gameplay is very fun and well organized. The campaigns are 100% history based and I learned quite a bit. The Multiplayer part of the game is fantastic and full of players. The Scenario Editor and Campaign Editor let players experiment and be creative. After the facts, I would give the game 4 stars.

Great Improvement for Empire Earth Lovers

If you are an Empire earth lover, this expansion is great. I got to where I could whip two computer ai players in hard in the old game, but not this game. The ai suddenly became much harder on hard. Now I can barely take on one ai on hard, and not always successfully. Great new challenge. Also, the new special powers add a new dimension.

THE BEST STRATEGY GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you like Red Alert 2, Age of Empires, Age of Mythology... you will love this. In the Art Of Contest there is a bunch of new things! A new age:space age with a bunch of ships, 18 new campaigns In multiplayer mode new places like the Moon,Mars and In senario editor and campaign editor you can invent people.

What I think, and a description of the expansion+space age.

I bought this game off amazon.com for $.... First thing first, the expansion is not anywhere as good as the first. You get like 4-6 new units in scenerio mode, and a new age (space age), plus civilization abilities. The Russian team gets a nuclear base as their special ability, but every team gets to make anti-nuclear missle veichles, as if everyone were to fight Russia. In the Space age you can not make docks or ship yards (sea power is dead), instead you make space ships (about 4 different ones, including transport) and space turrets. The space in the game is like the sea, a big black area filled with stars. Only space ships can go on it. Space ships can't go on land or water. Your space port has to be built where land and space meet only, so your ... if your surrounded by water. Space ships can attack land, but not very far, the distance is about 3-5 town centers put next to each other. So it is possible that some one from the nano age can defeat someone from the space age. The cybers have no other upgrades. In Nano and Space, your citizens become robots. The first EE is the one of the best stategy games to me, but the second one just ruins it.

Best Expansion Ever!

The expansion adds a new era to Empire Earths 100,000s years, adding a new level of game play and diversity into this already great game. It also adds far more greater eye candy and improvements into the already evolved game play; example farms are no longer corn only; they offer a diversity of fruits/vegetables and now Custom Civilizations Offer special abilities for your Empire in General; Ranging from Slavery, To expansionism, to A Market (AOK anyone?) to cloaking and Insurance. It also offers specialized units Such as the Cyber ninja , SAS commando and Paratroopers. The ninja can disable temporarily building productions , while on the other hand SAS commandos can set charges on things C n C style, and finally paratroopers are tossed from a plane (8 of them) to assist softening the defenses for a full scale attack. A new terrain also is introduced; Mars, this inhospitable planet is the zone for your allies and you to create an empire to rule them all. I believe this is one of the few great expansions that introduce more ups then downs. Must have for EE lovers.

Great for everyone!

Talk about great gameplay, new things, and still a lot of fun this game is great for everyone. It is a great expansion to its older version Empire Earth(exe: IT HAS A NEW EPOCH, THE SPACE).
This is defenetly even more stratigic than Empire Earth(exe:You have at least 20 more units to command, and at least 5 more buildings). I really think you should think of buying this game.
It will make your life better. : )

awsome game. it's great, new age(Space age). Tons of new campains. I never get bored of playing it. Its easy to play not a comlex strategy game were you have to be a ginuse to win. Overal the game is a great expantion to the game of the year. Cant wait till EE2 comes out.
