Revolutionary Concept In Gaming

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 9 / 17

This game represents a new and exciting idea in gaming, the "dynamic campaign". What seperates this game from the pack is the way that it doesn't have "pre-programed" missions. The course of the game is not a set of senerios that you must master in order to get to some video clip and then credits. Rather you determin the next step in the story. This is set aroung a fictional WWII/Cold War Revamped style conflict that takes place in Iceland. The graphics are exceptional. The game play is easy with the emphasis on the dynamic campaign. This one goes down with Wolfenstien 3D and Tron. This is the look of the future.

This so called "flight sim" is the biggest joke and waste of time and money ever. The grahpics are ancient.

I played the precious EF2000 games. Even though dated, they were more fun that this snooze fest. You can't even fly when you want to. You have to wait until your lazy pilots decide they want to fly. It could get really annoying because it could take a while before the pilots decide they wanna get their lazy behinds to fly.

The phyisics feel like something from the pac-man age. The cockpit is a bulurry mess of painted on silly ness and the story line...umm...what story line? Ur stupid pilots spend most of the game in bar. If they happened to get killed when they finally decide to fly, they will then spend like an hour in bed and guess what? straight back to the bar!!

This game is nothin but a cheesy waiting game. It's old and doesn't do the preivious EF2000 games justice. Give this waste of a disc to your dog or somethin...maybe he might have fun with it.

I flew through the junk of a downed cruise missile, had a total electrics failure and thought, "Not a problem, I'll just use my compass" My mistake, the in-cockpit res is so poor that none of the cockpit instruments are actually good for anything. I ended up ejecting somewhere north of Scotland.

This is just one example of the total lack of effort that has been put into this flight sim. There is absolutely no learning curve associated with landing the plane. Just jam it down on the black stuff between the rows of lights and, "She'll be right mate".

Judging by the box I thought that there might be some kind of inter-activity between the player and other pilots during briefings and downtime. That was my mistake, what really happens is when you select a mission, and then go through 5 minutes of watching poorly drawn characters mime out briefings, drawing up flight plans, sorting themselves out in the cockpit etc.

Anyone who suggests you buy this sim is trying to trick you out of your hard-earned cash. Go find a copy of Falcon 4.0 in a bargain bin somewhere if you want a decent Jet Sim.

Junk

if you've never played a flight sim, this maybe your game, but once you've tried Flanker, Falcon or IL2 you'll realize what an absolute piece of junk it really is. The graphics are dated and poorly done, the flight model if you wish to call it such is better suited for a space simulator. I would advise you save your money or purchase IL2 or Lock On.
