A MUST for Any Uno Fan

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 34 / 35

This is a fantastic game for anyone who even LIKES Uno a little bit. It has an easy interface and plays much like the regular Uno card game. There is also a special deck of cards and you can adjust the difficulty level. You can set the number of points that will determine a win. There are several backgrounds with different music & motifs, Standard, Western, Space, & Groovy (Kinda 60's). There is no memory on this game, so you cannot stop in the middle of a game & continue it later. But this is a small price to pay for the tons of fun you will have. It's so addictive, that it's safe to say that you will finish the Uno game before you put the gameboy down!

A fun game to play by yourself

This is a great game for those who have always loved the classic game of Uno. The great thing about this is that you don't have to get your friends or family to play with you. Uno for the Gameboy has different levels of difficulty so you don't always win and you don't always lose. It has neat animation and color to sort of jazz up the game for kids and adults. Again, it's a fun one to play when you can't get the friend's together for a card game of Uno. I recommend this to all the Uno game players.

Uno is the best!

I LOVE Uno! It was one of the reasons why I bought a Gameboy Color (the other Pokémon!) Fans will love Uno, and if you're not familiar with it, you will after just playing once. It has additional cards not found in the playing card deck if you choose to play with those and you can play with a friend if you have a game link cable. My co-worker loves Uno and I have her hooked on the Gameboy Color version. Different themes are selectable for your gaming pleasure (60's, Western, etc.) and plays exactly like the card game. You won't want to stop (and sometimes you can't!) Get an AC adapter from Nintendo, as you will wear out batteries playing this! Get it now from Amazon!

Uno- a great game!

Modeled after the card game of the same name, Uno for GBC is a fun, entertaining game for all ages. It's fairly easy to learn, so even those who have never played before will catch on quickly. The object is to get rid of all your cards before your opponent(s). But don't forget to call UNO when you have one card left! You can link up and play with your friends, or play one-player against a variety of computer opponents. The Gameboy version includes 3 themed decks- Groovy, Space, and Wild West, and even has several special new cards in addition to the normal Uno deck.

There are a few minor complaints- Until you are used to the controls, it's easy to do something wrong. I hit the wrong button and drew a card by accident when I could have gone out. Also, calling Uno is confusing until you're used to it. And the animations can be rather annoying, but can be cut off. It can also get slightly boring if a) you play it too much (2 hours straight like I did!) or b) you don't like card games. The number of good things about this game far outweigh the bad.

Overall, this is a great gameboy game, and will keep you entertained for a long time! Sadly, it is fairly rare and can be hard to find. Add it to your collection as soon as you can!

Uno is so fun on your Game Boy. Unlike regular Uno you can play with your friends or family (regular Uno is still fun too),on your Game Boy you can play Standerd Uno,Groovy,Space,or Wild West. That is why I think it is so fun.

Not only can you pick all sorts of options for playing & background, it's really fun! You can play against 1-3 other computer people.

It has cute graphics and I would recommend this to anyone who loves the card game or for those that haven't played before. I promise you'll get hooked.

If you enjoy UNO, this game is for you. I don't care at all for the animations, but everything else is just great. Give it a try, you can't beat the price. Excellent game for travel.

Totally addictive gameboy version of the well-known card game. Cute animation, clever graphics, nicely-done sound effects. The music is really annoying, but easily turned off. Excellent value for the money.

Our kids love this card game & knew that the gameboy game would be a hit...I was right! They now can play together on the gameboy or alone against the gameboy it's self. I found myself playing it for 30 minutes!! There are fun themes from Groovy to Western. If you have Uno fans with a Gameboy this is the game for them!!

Classic game you can play by yourself...

It took me a while to find this game and I must say that it was well worth the search! The game is played the same way as the classic card game except that you can play alone. It is so addictive, I found myself playing an hour at a time and GBC Uno would make an ideal travel game.

There is an option to play regular Uno or Challenge Uno, which plays like regular Uno but is scored differently. There are 3 additional decks to choose from. Be forwarned though that it can be a bit hard for some to read the numbers on the cards with the other decks. You can choose 2-4 players, difficulty level, speed that the cards are played and score total, which can be set from 100-2000 points. There is also an option to turn off both the music and the effects which are cute but can be a bit long. If you want to keep the flow of the game smooth running I suggest turning off the effects.

Overall this is an exciting and fun, addictive game that will keep you occupied, probably more than you like, and the best part of it all is that you can play by yourself! Enjoy!
