This is the best game I've ever played! Its so cool. You get to walk all around the Hogwarts School and learn the subjects. The only little parts I got frusturated on was when you had to find your Gringott's vault and find your way through the dungeons underground.I still havn't found the ingredients for Snape.I have 52 pairs of snake fangs,2 pairs of beetles eyes, and NO boomslang skin...I REALLY reccomend this game.

IT'S SO MUCH FUN

My friend got this game for her birthday and she knew how much I LOVE Harey Potter so she let me play it. I couldn't stop playing it I LOVED it I tell you this is the BEST game ever great graphics, fun places to go to, and online it's not that much! I can't wait to get this game when it comes in!

Great Game

I borrowed this game from a friend and it is great!! The plot exactly follows the book which makes completing Harry's quests and classes really fun. It has a lot a adventure you collect the Wizard Cards to get power, earn points for your house, and shop! The only things I think the makers could have improved are the graphics and there's not a lot of Quidditch involvment. You don't get to play Qudditch (I know you can get the Nimbus 2000, I just don't know how...I used gameshark). It's cool to attend classes, learn spells, wander the school at night, and a whole lot more (you'll just have to buy the game). Very fun that makes it hard to put down.

Overall, this game is great. It's challenging (at times) and it's exciting to follow along the plot in the book. I definatly reccommend this game to any Harry Potter fan.

great - but with flaws

This is a very engrossing game - you want to keep playing no matter what. There are a couple of problems though - for Snapes class - if you do not get the boomslang skin FIRST (in snapes office across from classroom) you will never be able to get it. For some reason it will not be there anymore if you get either of the other 2 things first. I had to start the game over again twice before I discovered this. And I don't like how there is so much internal movement of Harry throughout the game with different characters without any of my control.
Otherwise - it seems to be a really fun game. I would definately recommend it - to kids and adults alike !

How to get rid of Peeves Curse!

I'm not exactly sure how long ago someone wrote that if you knew how to get rid of Peeves Curse, then write a review saying how......but just in case they were still wondering....You first have to go into the library, talk to the Madam Pince (the librarian), go back out of the library which is where Peeves will be asking you if you found the book yet and you say no, then Peeves leaves and you have to go to the "muggle" classroom (i think it's on the 4th floor, but I'm not sure....It's the floor with all the instruments and stuff on the wall). Peeves will be there AGAIN, and he will say something like: Still looking for the book? but watching TV is so much more fun!. Then Peeves leaves yet again and you should go into the classroom, to one of the corners where there is a TV, and you face the TV and hit the "A" button. It will transport you to a second story of that classroom and you have to fight a monster that's right in front of a bookcase. After you beat the monster, you can get the curse book from the bookcase. (to get rid of the curse: you go to "start", "item", "cursebook" then say yes when it goes :do you want to use this?.) But then you have to return the book to Madam Pince (the librarian), and go back do Defense against the Dark Arts and talk to Quirrel. Got all that? okay...hope this was helpful!

Game was 'OK'

The game isn't really that hard but here are my suggestions: For Snape's Class you need to get two portions of beetles eyes. I forget where the second portion is but it is INSIDE THE CASTLE. For Circe's card fight against the rats, try to be above level 15 and have Flipendo Tria (it helps ALOT!). The purple rabbit is next to Herbology and check out all the shelves in he library. Lastly, find a friend who has the game and TRADE YOUR CARDS! It is IMPOSSIBLE to collect all the cards in one game and to beat Voldemort you ABSOLUTELY must trade cards! Also, before entering The Forbidden Corridor, try to be level 25 and have ALL the spells especially Incendio Duo or Tria and Flipendo Tria. Also, you can find extra spells in the Restricted Section of the Library!!!

Awesome!

I bought this for my 8 year old for her birthday and she didn't like it even though she loves Harry Potter. She traded with her sister who just turned 7...she didn't like it either. So I tried it...I LOVE IT! I AM HOOKED!! Even though I have to borrow one of their gameboys while they're in school...
2 thumbs up by me!

Well this was a very good game. The graphics compared to the other versions are okay but it's a gameboy color! I've played better games but I am not disappointed. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone follows the story line as close as possible with quest after quest after quest! The only thing is did they have to go through a dungeon before they went into the entrance hall? Plus I don't remeber fighting rats and bats and suits of armor. I got it yesterday and I've been playing for about three hours. Non of it is too hard however I understand I'm not that far in the game yet. (...) I reccomend this for beginners and veterans alike plus harry potter fans.
Go see the movie! It's really GREAT!!!

It's So Much Fun, But Challenging At This Certian Place!

I jsut started playing the game the other day, and it's so fun to get to new levels of it. You fight off things with spells, and you can talk to as many people as you choose. And even though I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, and read their books, one part is so hard! I'm STILL looking for Snapes ingredients! It's been hours and hours! I got so frustrated with that I started over about 3 or 4 times seeing if its easier....it doesnt help. (...)
