If you are stuck on Harry Potter read this to help you out.
If you are looking for the school tie it is on the gargoyle in the entrance hall.
If you are looking for the purple rabbit, it's beside the greenhouse.
If you are looking for the ingredients for Snape look for BOOMSLANG SKIN first (it's in his office on the head of the picture of a snake)!!! The BEETLE EYES are in Hagrids garden and the snake fangs are in front of the the greenhouse (well actually you have to fight the 1st snake you see.)

This is one of the best games I have ever played. It has some stuff like the book but it added in some stuff like getting lost in Gringotts and Having to go through the Hogwarts dungeons to get to the main castle. I don't have this game but I played it at my friend's house and absolutelly loved it. I would reccomend this game instead of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for Gameboy Advance. This game is much better.

Exciting and Fun Game!

Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone is a great game for GBC. It has great graphics (in comparison to other GBC games), exciting gameplay, unique and fun music, and other fun features. The game goes in order of the events in the book, and the characters look very much alike to how they "should" look. There are many fun add-ons such as finding and collecting magical cards, for fun, or for battle. Or "bonus" games, if you can find them. I bought HP&SS some time ago, and even though I've already finished it more than once, I still enjoy playing it from the beginning. If you're a Harry Potter fan, you will be delighted by this game!!

don't even bother with it

I am a big harry potter fan and this game was soo dissapointing. It has almost nothing to do with the books or the movie. All you ever do is go find this, go find that, get rid of your curse, etc. If you don't believe me, go rent it - you'll be so sorry you wasted your money.

where is the snakes skin?

Reading many reviews about the game of Harry Potter on this site, I was wondering why so many people can't find the ingredients of the potion Harry has to make for Sneep. I for myself know from other reviews that the snake's skin can be found in the office of Sneep, near the picture of the snake, but I can't possibly find it. Could this be an error in the some versions of the game? I would like the hear experiences from other people.
On general, the game is rather agreable, but not as good as Pokemon and certainly not as good as Zelda (Oracle of Ages and Seasons).

This is one of the worst games I have ever played. With horrible graphics and bad sound, I would rather be playing the original Frogger game. The game is O.K. in the begining and in the end it is terrible. Don't buy it.

If you are looking for Snape's ingredients, the beetles eyes are in the bushes by Hagrid's hut, the snake fangs are in the herbology garden(you have to fight a snake to get them), and the boomslang skin is on the poster of a snake in Snape's office.
Important! You MUST get the boomslang skin first!

As much as I love this game, some parts are very hard. When it comes time to find ingredients for snape's potion, it is next to impossible to find snakes's phangs. I found all the other indgedients, but i can't find this one. If anyone knows where to find it, post it on the internet!!!!! this part is very misleading. The rest of the game is great! it plays very true to the book.
