Unique and excellent mech fighter

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 0 / 0

This is one of my favorite games, mostly due to the (on-screen) scale of the 'mechs and the graphics style. In most mech games, the protagonist is too large for my taste. I also like the array of weapons, the ability to "overlap" enemies without receiving damage, and the size and style of the other characters in the game. I wish they would re-release this game for GBA, and the sequel (Assault Suit Leynos 2, Japanese Saturn) for a contemporary system. But, judging from the fact that mine was the first review, Target Earth must not have been very popular. Too bad. Yes, it is very difficult and doesn't allow saving, but with those tweaks, it would have been about perfect.
