simple, but fun

Eh, NIGHT TRAP is not that good of a game. It's not really controversial either. I'm not sure why everyone was `'up in arms'' over this one. NIGHT TRAP was just scrutinized because it was the first. ('first' is debatable) This is a harmless game. It contains pretty bad video quality, but it's interactive. (If it weren't for this game, we wouldn't have the ESRB.)

Your goal is simple: trap the alien invaders, protect the girls at the slumber party.

At the time of release, the players' ``control'' over the game's content was considered revolutionary. NIGHT TRAP is not that big of a deal. Full motion video (FMV) games have always been heavily criticized This is not even that good of an FMV game. NIGHT TRAP is about as titillating as a department store catalog. Plenty of 1980's style and humor string the thin plot along.

Final thought: simple, but fun.
