Yeah I know, Super Nintendo Games are outdated but I still play them like hell. It was when I came across Mega Man X4 on my playstation that I remembered I owned the first one.

The Mega Man X series takes off from where the original series left off, sorta. A new character named Zero is introduced, and for those of you who were tired of Dr. Wiley can now face a new boss named Sigma.

The story is not very understandable at first, but I gave it five stars because of how fun it was, and because you can't say its too difficult or too hard. Eventhough the final boss is a little hard.

There are also "capsules" in this one. These power up the abilities that Mega Man can have. In this first installment, you can't expect the capsules to really give you much. (That is if you played X2-X5 first, but I played them all in order.) But the game is fun either way. I would recomend this to any Mega Man gamer.

Nearly flawless in every way

Being a huge Megaman fan for the past 16 years, it's easy for me to appreciate everything that an awesome game like Megaman X has to offer. Megaman X was my first ever Megaman game. I still own it today and play it regularly. I've completed over 20 different Megaman games, and while I didn't think that any of them were bad at all, none of them can compare with this one.

As the first installment in the popular X series, MMX does a pretty damn good job at getting you hooked after the first 5 minutes of gameplay. Honestly, this is one of the greatest games of this gameplay style around. There are so many different features to this game that make it near perfect.

First off, the music is flat out awesome. The tunes rock hard and sometimes you will pause right in the middle of a level just to enjoy the outstanding music.

The gameplay is also perfect. X's running animation is VERY detailed for a 16-bit game. Overall, the gameplay is very easy for anyone to get used to, even if you've never played a game of this style before.

And of course, where would a great game like this one be without its breathtaking visuals. Seriously, the graphics in this game are top notch for an SNES title. The backgrounds are extremely detailed, and the enemy sprites are very colorful as well.

Basically, if you're considering getting this game, don't wait. Get it now! Don't wait another 4-5 months for X Collection, you must play this game now! You will be addicted to it, and the difficulty level is appropriate enough for anyone to enjoy the game. If you don't at least try it, you're dead inside.

Incredible! He can destroy other heroes.

You really have to get the hang of the game before the first real level before you play. The first level is the introduction or the story. So the vidio game is really fun once you are near the ending.Sooner or later, you get a hang of it.

This game is amazing. The first bosses are easy if you do them in the right order. And on the 3rd and 2nd to last bosses you use the Ice or heat seaker( just to help you ). But the last leavle is impossible. It is a big challenge. espeshully if you have a split second to hit the 3rd boss. Also Vile is impossible. it takes him 3 hits to kill you. That's why you have to be carfull. Since you have to fight about 4 bosses with a heath bar and a sub t. But even though it sounds hord (witch it is) It is Extreem Fun!

The beginning of a series

Mega Man X, the first in the series, combines the best of the original Mega Man series while fusing it with its own futuristic style. This is one of the first Super NES games I ever played and will forever be one of the best. The music, graphics, and storyline, ALL of it is superb (the "Ryu cheat" in this was a nice touch)! While future X games were good (up until X4), none of them ever quite had the charm that this one possesses (maybe it was intended to "pass the banner" from the original series onto its next generation, so to speak.). A MUST-HAVE!

Possibly one of the best MegaMan games, so far
