The long awaited sequel to Fed vs Zeon

There aren't to many Gundam games that come State side, let alone PAL (Europe, Australia, Africa, etc) but those that we do get tend to meet average standards. Although GvsZG doesn't have the graphics of Gundam's earlier games like Journy to Jaburo, Zeonic Front or Encounters in Space. The easy gameplay and controls make up for it.

Anybody can play this game! The controls were designed for toddlers, there are a ton of Mobile Suits (over 50) to choose from and 30 of them can transform at will a nice new feature.

This is the direct sequel of MSG although the Anime has yet to appear in the states, arguably the best series with some of the best Mobile Suits. I recomend this game to any Gundam fan or any person playing video games for the first time.

With plenty of Robots and Missions tons of missions there is a great deal of replay value. Oh and did I mention multiplayer? It has that too and Co-op so you and a friend can play together.

As for the cons, it's not much of an improvment over Fed vs Zeon, but that was a solid game itself so that's not as bad as it may sound. The stages are rather small and only so many robots can be on screen at one time.

I highly recomend this to Gundam fans and younger gamers because of the easy gameplay. Everybody else rent it or look on the bargain bin.

a great gundam game

In Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam, you get to play as either the Titans (as shown in the end of 0083 and in the Zeta Gundam series), the AEUG (in Zeta Gundam) and Axis (formerly Zeon). i've already seen the Zeta Gundam series and it sticks to the story line as well as expands it. it allows you to "change history" by compeleting certain objectives. you also play as the pilots from the series. the graphics are good. you can control all the MS from Federation vs Zeon plus the new AEUG and Titans suits. the music is good but sometimes can become old. it has the actual voice overs from the series.the only thing that i can think of that is not good is the repetion of levels. you fight in the same exact area over and over again but with different objectives. and you kinda get the storyline if you haven't watched the series Zeta Gundam but to fully understand it, you'll need to watch Zeta gundam.

First off, this game is obviously a sequel to gundam FVZ, by the name at least. after playing it a bit i realized as much, it has some minor tweaks to the grafics and transformable mobile suits. there are 72 mobile suits and all the original mobile armors. the space combat has only slightly improved, though barely noticeable over FVZ, and is still considerably worse than gundam Encounters in space. it's story mode plays out the story of the original gundam and zeta gundam, with a twist, you can change the outcome of the game by completeing the hard missions in a special way. most of these just cause a pilot thast normally dies to live making a story branch off. all in all if you liked gundam: federation vs zeon, you'll like gundam gundam vs zeta gundam.

This is one of the best Gundam game around. The best thing is you can pilot 50+ mobile suit in their CG version, now I can enjoy the game with my 9 year old son because of the easy game control.Unlike the PS1 gundam assault game in which so many buttons has to be entered in order to activate an attack, the gundam VS Zeta gundam has much easier game control I highly recommended to all gundam fans

Another Crappy Gundam Game...

This is where I do the compliment sandwich, where I say something nice, then something that can be improved upon, then something good again. Let's see, there are a lot of mobile suits. That's good. Now for the bad, this game is so easy to play that I left the game unpaused and my cat swating at the control pad was able to hold her own. The graphics are not horrible though. Bandai gets away with making crappy gundam game after crappy gundam game because the fans have come to expect it, and for hardcore fans we feel we need an outlet to express our love of Gundams. However, this game is too much. As far as giant robot games go, there are far better ones on the market. And as for getting that gundam fix, their is always the dvds and the model kits. I guess my conclusion would have to be thatif you are getting this for a child under 13, the ease of gameplay would be a good thing. A child would probably have fun with this for awhile. For someone with all of their motor skills, look some place else for your gundam/giant robot fix. And maybe, just maybe if no one buys this game, Bandai will realize that just because a game has the word Gundam in the title doen't mean people will spend $40-50 on it. Then maybe they will actually make a decent Gundam game on their next attempt.

The Heir to Federation vs. Zeon...

This game is completely similar to its previous game, "Federation vs Zeon." You choose either arcade or campaign mode and you play as either the AEUG or the TITANS. The story as always, is very limited when you play arcade, so you may have to play and beat campaign mode, which takes forever as usual.

But the main point of the game is to have fun, even though it maybe a lot like the previous game. The addition to the game is its extra features gallery and new Ms's to pilot from the Zeta Gundam series.

Lots of mobile suits

Great game, even if your no fan of the series, its a great mech game. There are definately alot of gundams in this title, and its addicting to play. Only one problem i have with the game is the framerate when more than 5 gundams get on screen. The game tends to freak out when it sees too many of gundams, but its few and far between in the campaign mode. My favorite part of the game is in the universal century mode, after playing through the new characters the game offers, you can see what led up to that particular pilots take in the war. For example you can play as Lt. Quatro, who is really Char, and you get to replay the mission where he betrays Garma. All in all great title.

Terrific!!!!!!!!!!!!
