My Review of Star Trek: Armada

Star Trek: Armada is one of the best Star Trek games I've played alough I was a bit disapointed that I coulden't build a Galaxy Class. The only way you can use a Galaxy Class is playing one of the Final Missions or using the multiplayer map "The Junkyard" by salvaging a wreked Galaxy Class. One neat thing about the game is that Patrick Stewart and Michal Dorn both voice characters in this Game (Picard/Locutus, Worf). The strangest thing about the game is how Picard meets Locutus which is strange because they are both the same person (or Borg, or whatever). If you like action I whould recomend this game. If you like action without waiting for ships to be built than I reccomend Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force.

Very fun, but old

This game rocks! The graphics are good. You can choose between the Klingons, the federation, the romulans, and the borg. You can go to Star Trek's website and get downloads like creating your own map. The only problem is that your computer has to be very powerful to run it.

Best of the last of Activision

If you are a star trek fan, and like strat. games, and just get a kick out of watching a dozen starships going at it, then get this game. Then get on the intenet and download an even better version of the game made by the fans. I dropped my PS2 infavor of star trek armada modifications. GO MILLENNIUM PROJECT!!!

Armada is just like it sounds.

I have had this game since it came out and has been a blast. Armada- Long Long number of ships. It is a lot fun. Ship after ship comes out of your shipyard u can have up to 10 Fleets of ships or more go at it agaist the Feds, the Roms, The Kilgons or THE BORG. Fight Head to head or on 8 player map on muiltplayer.(Note: If u can find patch v1.1 and v1.2 so u can play muiltplayer) for a game thats been around for a while people still play it and have fun.

Not bad at all.

ST: Armada is a really spectacular first try for an RTS (Real Time Strategy) game. It has a decent story line for the solo missions and it's online playing capability is superb. Only complaint is that there is a severe lack of different ships and it would have been a little better if you could have had a "higher view from above" when commanding huge armadas in online play. It's worth buying, it's worth playing. It's a good game.

A good strat. game.

You get to Command the whole entire Borg Collective, The United Federation Of Planets, The Klingon Empire, and The Romulan Star Empire. Very well done.

Best game since Starcraft!!

the game engine allows for scinerios where you don't ever face the same situation time and time again. the graphics are fair and the special effects are pretty well done. my favorite parts are when the ships go under each other and other planets.

Star Trek: Armada-Worth the money !!!!!!

I must say I actually love this game !!! Its addictive. You get to use strategy to complete missions. Plus you get to play as the Borg, Klingons, Romulans, and of course the Federation. Has the actors from the TV shows doing voices as well. Put this on your birthday or christmas list. Can't wait for the next one !!!

Great Game

Star Trek Armada is one of my faivorite games. The Omega Missions that you can only access by beating all the other campains was a big plus because I actualy had a reason to play through the missions and not just use the Instant Action option. Also the fact that the missions have some of the races that you can't play like the Sonia, or the Cardassians is fun. The only problem is because the builings are the same as some of the races buildings. Only the shipyards were diffrent. The Feringi had a Federation Dilitium Mining ship. Other than those flaws the game was enough to keep me occupied for several days of game play.
