This is a good game if you have a non forcefeedback steering wheel or joystick It is impossible to play with a Sidewinder Force feedback wheel. If you have a regular joystick it is a good game. Because the wheel just goes all over the pace it is no fun at all! If you have force go with a differant game.

Exciting Game-real feel of the road!

You get 27 different kinds of vehicles. There are all different kinds of courses and also there are demo versions available. The T Rex is the best you can drive. The drawback is that the music CDs that play fade in and out and are at times nonexistent. Our system has been freezing from time to time during use and if you walk away it may freeze. All said it is a good value for the money but improvements could be made. You will love the experience of this game and when the music does play it ties in really well.

Test drive Off Road 3 is a lot of fun to play on my computer but the games processing speed is awfully slow. It is slow even for a Intel Celeron 500mhz computer with 64 megabytes of RAM and Windows 98. It takes at least a Minute and a half or more while Need for speed high stakes takes at least 45 seconds to load a race. This game (Test drive off road 3) is a whole lot of fun to play but you have to have a little paitence when the game loads a race because it takes a while. but The music is cool and the graphics Are excellent. It is worth the wait for a track to load on this game because once you get going with the game It is a lot of fun.

This is a great choice for kids who don't have the latest computers. It runs fine on a five year old computer and you don't need more than keyboard commands to play. The levels are challenging and you can customize you vehicle as you go. Fun off road race game.

Neat and Fun!

You get 27 different kinds of vehicles. There are all different kinds of courses and also there are demo versions. These come when you are done race. The T Rex is the best you can drive. You will love it! Great music too. They help you to get better at the arcade games. You can concentrate well if there is no noise around you when you play.

This is a great game to start with. You get many vehicles, and many add ons(supercharges, bigger engines, larger tires, etc), but on certain tracks, like the downhill mountain course, all you have to do is floor it and pretty much float down the trail(above the other vehicles and obstacles, bouncing off the sides of the mountain with no damage, of course).

Overall, its a much better improvement than the first and second one, but Insane, and 4x4 Evo 2 are much better.

Not Too Easy - Not Too Hard

I liked the fact that its easy to advance thru the levels quickly enough to keep it interesting, yet challenging enough that I'll keep coming back to it. The graphics for the different tracks were interesting enough that I was actually distracted from the driving checking out the scenery. Loved the music! I really love the off road games, wish they'd make more. Bought this game because you get to drive the Hummer, now I want a real one!
