A fun new role for Donald Duck

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 12 / 14

It's fun to see Donald Duck turn into an action hero. With the aid of a talking supercomputer named "One", Donald has to rescue a bunch of scientists that would help him defeat an alien invasion of Earth. He's given the name "P.K." - initials for latin words that stand for "energized duck", as well as a costume, gadgets, and a new speaking voice to keep his identity secret. The game itself is easy to play players of all ages, with lots of bright colors and sharp graphics, an old-school platform adventure game. The uses of the diffrent weapons Donald has keep things interesting as it goes on, and the game has a "techno" music sountrack that gives it some snap. There's also some neat 3D animation that sets up the story, with animated episodes mixed into each new level that Donald enters. I don't believe this game is being promoted well at all though - it may
be overlooked by other Disney-related offerings. With a price tag of around ($$$), it's a great, fun, buy.

Not too shabby

For the price, this is a pretty good adventurer game. The action is single-player with one character in a predetermined plot sequence. The graphics are well designed, though the overall game architecture is very similar to the way games were developed in the early 1990's, and the developers do not take advantage of the more advanced capabilities of the PS2.

Good for a few hours of entertainment...

Funny!

This game is adorable & my son seems to like it. It's not his favorite, but he does play with it.
