Gorgeous

It is so beautiful...the scenery. I love to watch my stepson play it. The water, the whale, the snow, the cathedrals, the eagle, heaven....I find it mesmorizing to watch. I have nothing to compare it too as far as playability, but I think the creators were a genius as far as graphics go.

I don't know what to say that hasn't already been said, except that I concur.

The gameplay is extremely boring, especially in the "town missions". You basically run around and interact with people and do stupid little errands. In the regular "action" zones, it's somewhat reminiscent of later-gen Sonic games but the problem here is the camera never helps you. I find myself constantly having to re-adjust my view after even just taking a few steps.

Also, there's little to no consistency or progression with difficulty. Meaning, some of the earlier missions will be really easy and some will take many retries. The same applies to all the later missions.

Sonic does go fast in parts but nowhere near the blazing speed we're used to seeing as Sonic fans. Also, what's with the alternate character storylines? Do you really want to play through Shadow and Silver's missions after completing the Sonic storyline? Just so you know, they're even more boring and annoying than Sonic's.

It's hard to believe Sega actually made this game. After playing through the first half, I remember checking my box to see if it was put out by another company. They have really lost their touch, at least with Sonic. I hope that if they do decide to make another Sonic game, they rethink their whole strategy because this is not a fond memory of the blue hedgehog.

I love Sonic games. This one is a little different than the other ones I have played. It seems a little convoluted in the city, when you have to interact with people in the streets. However, once the level begins it is the same fun, fast paced, heart pumping Sonic all over again. I really enjoy the two-player coop mode in this version. I wish they could integrate online coop mode with the game.

I love this game but their are soooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!! many load screens for 1 second clips but also you can play 2 other players and their great action I now what the guys are saying but I recommd this game

Awful product, as other reviewers have stated. If you want to get funny games for your kids, buy Surfs Up or Ratatouille instead.

This game was awesome. Great graphics. Exellent sense of speed. Its the greatest sonic game ever. The camera angles were'nt as bad as people say. You just gotta have quick eyes. The only major problem is that the controls dont work IMMEDIATELY! So you might press the jump button and he wont jump till about a second and a half later. That will get you killed when you're getting ambushed. But, very cool game.

I love Sonic soooooooo much and brought the game right after it came out! I have Need For Speed, Call Of Duty 3, Mobile Suit Gundam (Stay Away) for my PS3 however this game is the best! The only bad thing is the loading times in the game but besides that its a good game! Sonic looks extra good in the game but they could have worked some more on Shadows graphics. I liked the his world song alot and love the level Crisis City even thought it's really hard. I reccomend this game to all PS3 owners unless your dumb and only like bad games!

I really like this game. It is very exciting and very entertaining. I especially like how there are three different story modes, one for each hedgehog. The ONLY thing which drives me crazy is the load time. You have to wait over a minute each time you enter a new place, even if you have already been there. Also, for missions, you accept the mission, LOAD, get the instructions on the mission, and with "Ready, Go!", you get to load again for a minute! A complete waste of time. Other than that, this game is awesome

PS3 games rock!

I don't know why these people hate on this game so much this sonic game is probabley the best sonic game I ever played its way better than the dreamcast sonic games so I give this game 5 stars the missons on the game are difficult but challenging this game is real good espcially that you get to play with the great sonic as well as silver new character and shadow too.

The game was rushed. The instruction manual says there are things in the game, that in fact, never made it in the final release. The load times are totaly unacceptable, incredibly long load times for just five seconds of either a CG or mini-game instruction. The controls are HORRIBLE and in some areas, the ground is there, but you can still fall through. The slowdown in this game is UNBEARABLE and the camery WILL KILL YOU. Try to avoid this game alltogether, unless you don't mind playing 20 dollars for it.
