Great Game

I like racing games, so decided to buy this one. The game's graphics are superb and seem like the arcade hit HydroThunder. The CD came with a Windows version as well, so I can play this game on Windows as well. The game looked and ran the same on both MacOS and Windows. I will choose to run this game on MacOS though. The requirements are a little steep, but not too bad. If you have a flat-panel iMac, this game should run well.

Any fan of either James Bond (your car looks like it came right from a recent Bond film) or racing/car games should seriously concider Spyhunter as their next purchase. Overall this game really delivers, you quickly become quite immersed in the game soon after starting it. Although it's rather short (only 14 missions), they still offer varied locations and weapon/car modifications to keep you interested. The only real problem is the objective based gameplay becomes a little annoying and tough every once and a while, you'll probably end up replaying a level over several times just to find out where certain targets are and how to get past tricky obsticles in the time you have (which is almost always enough fortunately).
For a game made in 2001 Spyhunter still looks pretty good, there's a lot of detail put into the enviroments and enemy models and the result is quite impressive, even compaired to some games of today.
I found that Spyhunter boasts a furious pace and a respectible array of offensive and defensive weaponry that does a great job at keeping the action flowing. If your concerned about Spyhunter not working on your Mac, don't fret, Spyhunter is a somewhat old game and should work pretty good on the Macs available around when it was created, so long as you meet the reasonable system requirements you'll be fine. (You've probably read the phrase "encredably detailed graphics" they more or less are but even an elderly ATI Rage 128 is said to be able to handle Spyhunters visuals),
If you have a few extra bucks to spend give spy hunter a try, even if you don't love the game you'll still get a few cool thrills, like when you first morph beautifully into a motorcycle or jetski after taking enough damage, that alone is almost worth half the asking price.
