It took me a long time to like this game.

My mother got me this game one Christmas many moons ago and I really hated it when I first started playing it. In fact, I played it a fair bit when I had it, but soon the SNES came along and I ended up giving my old NES to my nefue & niece.

A few years later I was staying with them and they broke out the old nintendo and I was bored enough to try this game again... I finally figured out what it was you have to do in this game... as a kid I wasnt old enough to understand it I guess, it's very time consuming and it's challenging. I finally figured out that you need to go see Zues as the first thing you do, then you gotta go visit all the other gods and buy things along the way... it took a while to understand and know what to do, but once you do it's actualy a decent game that I would love to see revived one day, maybe even made into a movie?

People have best described this as Zelda in ancient Greece. You walk around killing things to earn points and crystals, but you must go and see the greek gods and get there blessings and recieve certain weapons or items to advance to the next level. Even using codes to cheat my way through it, I still was not able to beat this game, it was very hard and very challenging as where most NES games in those days.

I did see a guy on utube who beat this game in 20 minutes and blew my mind that he did it with such ease and here I am 100 years later and cant even get past Crete. But I still have respect for this old game and I think it should have been more popular then it is.
