Best Bond Game Of All Time!

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 3 / 3
Date: February 27, 2004
Author: Amazon User

I'd definatly say that this is the best James Bond Game of all time. For one thing, it plays just like any other movie that you would see. All the actors (such as Pierce Brosnan, Judy Dench, and Richard Keil, as Jaws) came back to do this game. This is the last time we will be able to see Pierce Brosnan as "Bond, James Bond" since he is not doing any more movies and that makes the game much more fun. Listening to some of the bad impersonations in other games makes them much less entertaining. The missions, gadgets, and weapons that you use are just like the ones Bond uses. The driving missions in the game are great, although there may be one or two too many. All-in-all, this is the best Bond game sime Goldeneye came out for the N64.

It was great to see some big names lend their likeness to this title. Right from the opening credits you can tell this game will be a vast improvement over the previous 007 titles. Heidi Klum, Shannon Elizabeth, and my personal fav. Mya are in the game as well! (VA-VA-BOOM) Throw in a lot of the neat gadgets, more advanced enemies, much longer levels, variety of vehicles, etc. and we got ourseleves a winner. The best part of the game for me is the fact that the game totally immerses you in the various locations. You don't just go to a box-like building in some remote location. You actually feel you are in the specific location due to the level and sheer size of the maps. The driving levels in New Orleans and Peru are especially fun. The game can be easy or hard, depending on the level you choose and the one player mission, IMO has a good replay value. But what really makes this game a 5 star game is the multiplayer option as well as the co-operative games. Truly a much needed addition to this series. I remember how happy I was with goldeneye for the N64 and this will do the same for me and my XBOX. Enjoy!

BEST BOND EVER!!!

The new Bond game from EA is the best game of 2004! The gameplay and graphics are the best for a Bond game ever. Everything or Nothing tops Nightfire, Agent Under Fire, The World is Not Enough, and GoldenEye. Every moment depends on what YOU make Bond do. Youhave gadgets such as a rappel, stun, frag, and strobe grenades and the Porsche Cayenne and Aston Martin Vanquish with their usual armaments. Aslo a Triumph Daytona 600 motorcycle and a helicopter. Bond also carries his usual weaponry, machine guns, shotgun, rocket launcher and his trusty P99. This game is also in 3rd person mode that makes it 3x more realistic and like the movies. Here are my final ratings:

Gameplay-9
Graphics-8
Sound-9
Fun-10

P.S. BUY THIS GAME

JAMES BOND is back with more action than ever. Bond has top of the line hand-to-hand action. I you run out of ammo you can kill them with your hands instead of restarting the game. Bond still has his Aston Martain V12 Vanquish and new top of the line vehicals and hidden weapons on it. Bond has a porsche cayenne turbo equip with missiles, machine guns, Q cloak, rc car. A Triumph Daytona 600 equip with double rocket shot, a stronger flamethrower and a nice shot gun. also bond has senses that tell him a hint. Bond is able to use all new wall cover and lock on. A rappel is a other helpful gadget. Shoot it at a edge and clime the wall. All new guns like the Dragunov, AT-20, DESERT EAGLE, MP5K, P99, SIG552, SPAS 12. ALSO there is in-game cheat codes for erning platimum meatals. There is a bond moment that is a true thing bond would do. If I were to rate this game it would be...

James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing is by far the best James Bond game yet. The graphics are great, although it is viewed from a 3rd person view (where you see yuor entire character, not just the gun). At first, this might not seem great. However, it ends up working very well.

James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing has great varity. The third person view makes stelth easier. The manual aim feature (like in Nightfire) puts you in frist-person ofr precies aiming. There is a fairly forgiving auto-aim feuture, as well. There are driving levels, with a better variety of cars. There are also more explosions, more opportunities to use tight-ropes, and the levels have multiple ways of being beaten.

James bond 007: Everything or Nothing is one of the best games around. The multiplayer mode is great. It offers silky smooth online support, as well as multitap support. Fans of shooters should buy this game.

This game is an absolute joyride from start to finish. Gorgeous cut scenes and in-game graphics, wonderful sound and the voiceacting is superb except for Maya and Heidi Klum's parts. Hearing Pierce Brosnan, Judy Dench and John Cleese throughout the game makes you feel all the more that you have stepped into one of the movies. I loved the last Bond game but this blows it away. It combines the character control and and feel of Splinter Cell with the action that was missing from that game.

And this game is full of action. The hand-to-hand combat is just as fun as the shooting and there are plenty of both. Just enough stealth required to keep it interesting but not detract from the action. And best of all are the increase in vehicle-based gameplay which I loved in Nightfire but there wasn't enough. This time there is. You get to drive cars loaded with goodies, do one straight up race, and pilot a helicopter with plenty of firepower.

The highlight of the game for me was the motorcycle level however. It is a pure thrill ride and does an amazing job at making you feel down to your bones the adrenaline rush of pure speed and dangerous maneuvers. And as always the variety of weapons and gadgets at bonds disposal is excellent. Although it's been a while since I finished the game I can not put it down. Going back and replaying each level at the various difficulties is sure to provide more than enough challenge and variety of game-play strategies as to keep this game fresh.

Great Single Player, Poor Multiplayer

The new third person view really enhances single player mode. Character abilities, character movements, and excellent "movie quality" cut scenes make the single player missions very entertaining.
HOWEVER, if you are looking for a multi-player game with a battle mode similar to other Bond titles this is not a game to buy! Multi-player battle mode is also played in 3rd person, and there is no split screen making the battle mode very boring and pretty much not worth playing.
But, there is an option for Co-op missions with 1 other player that is very similar to the single player missions (it is played with split screen) and is very fun.
Overall, if you are looking for a game to play by yourself or play cooperative missions with 1 other person it is a must-have. But if you are looking for 3 or 4 way multi-player action this game does not come close to past Bond titles for multi-player entertainment value.

The right way to make a game.

Never mind the small-minded nitwits who are complaining about the auto aim and the multiplayer (::Sniff:: you have to unlock some multiplayer features! Waa!! So unlock them.) Third person autoaim is the only way a game can approach realism. Would you watch a movie in which the hero walked around with a gun pointed straight ahead and slowly, slowly aimed at bad guys as they appeared ahead of him? I know, I know, OF COURSE NOT!!

First person shooters were tired before Doom was released. They're no different than Missle Command. Run around and aim. This game has climbing and diving, hiding and fistfighting. Two things set this apart from earlier third persons:

First, the ability to work a corner and shoot enemies while maintaining cover is indispensible and should be incorporated into every game along these lines. It is very satisfying to watch a charging enemy crumple from a head shot while James stays safely hidden around the corner. The same feature works while crouching behind objects.

Second, adjustable auto-aim. Acquire a target and pick where you want to shoot him. With a small twitch of the right thumb a head shot can fell an enemy in one shot, even with a P99. Terrific.

One thing I can't figure out about this one, though. Every sound associated with reloading and cocking the firearms is the same. Why?

This is the best game I've played.

Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have 007 Nightfire and this game is ten times better. I thought Nightfire was good, but Everything or Nothing is great. The graphics are so good. The levels are also so good. It is a must buy for any James Bond fan.

This is the latest James Bond movie...

...masquerading as a video game and allowing you to lead Bond through his missions. Action-packed prelude that throws you into the mix without a pause? Check. Cheesy theme song? Check. Scenery Chewing Villain? Check. Bond hooking up with the easiest girls this side of wild kegger? Check check and check. Yup, we got a James Bond movie here! And a pretty decent game too.

I haven't played any other Bond games so I can't compare them to it; nor did i have the chance to check out the multiplayer. I can say that this is a very entertaining game in the single player mode, quite creative and interactive with various weapons and vehicles depending on what stage you're in. Graphics were good, the xBox version would probably be a lot sharper. I dig vehicles, so I was happy that you have to fly a helicopter, drive a Cayenne and the good ol' Aston Martin as well as a SWEET crotch rocket during the course of the game. Too bad there was no water action, but i'm not picky :)

There are a wide range of weapons for you to choose from, as well as a lot of cool gadgets to play with. I didn't find myself using a lot of the gadgets, but then I was playing it on easy. I'm sure that i'd need that strobe grenade on harder levels...The aiming system is adequate but needs refining. Too many times i've been trying to peek around corners to take out a guy, when someone comes around and is shooting at me; yet the automatic aim continues to focus on the guy around the corner instead of the guy in my face.

I played this game as a rental on the PS2, took me about 3 days including breaks to beat it on the easiest level. The replay value for me is quite small, since I now know what the story/movie is, though they do try to add some life to it by having two combat simulators available after the last mission. I don't like the Tron setting of it though, couldn't they have created a theme setting?

All in all, i recommend this game strongly as a very good rental. Buying it is your choice, since I don't think it would hold up well over time for me even if it is a good game.
