action at its best

I'm the kind of guy who loves a good action game. However, I'm not crazy about superheroes. That's the only bad thing about the game. The fact that superheroes are the characters in charge is the only complaint I can find.

I won't complain, though. Because going around performing superhero moves on the enemies is really fun. This game finally got it right, breaking a horrible tradition of releasing one bad superhero game after another. Finally, a good one. No, I take that back- a GREAT one.

Fun but simple

As a huge Superman, Bats, and DC heroes fan, this game was a must. But overall, the game play can get simple. However, I enjoy that you can take the same stats and boosts from a beaten game and transfer them to a new game where you start over again but with those stats (something X-men legends didn't do, which made my replay less fun). Also when replaying, you can have the same stats but increase the difficulty, so that you're not always fighting easy baddies. Course you can always do easy and just destroy everything and everyone. Hey, your freakin' Superman!

This is a very good game, better than I expected.
The Flash, Green Lantern, Woman Woman among others need their own video games. I like the cinematics very much.

My 3 year old son loves this game. There's not a lot of thought involved and the characters pretty much work the same with just different names for similar moves. The detail is good enough for him to recognize the characters. Basically its free baby sitting for about 1 hour a day.

Not Marvel, but not bad

Kinda of supprising for me was this game. I am a huge super man fan and grew up on DC comics, however my husband is a marvel fan so we first bought the marvel version of this game and then this one. I have to say marvel put it together alot nicer then this one, and easier to understand. There are a few bonuses to this game, but i wont ruin it for you. Over all it was a blast to play but marvel would have gotten 5 stars

Pretty Good...

Let me start off by saying that I am a huge DC Comics fan. I was waiting for a long time for someone to make a Justice League video game. When I got this game, I was pretty impressed. The story is AMAZING!!! I love everything about it. The gameplay...not as much. Don't take me wrong, the gameplay is good, it's just not great. You start off in the game having to be as certain heroes (you play as two heroes each level except the last where you play as seven). Later on in the game, you can choose which heroes you want to be, which is cool especially for a DC fan. You can play as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash (the Wally West version, although Jay Garrick is an unlockable costume), Green Lantern (John Stewart, Kyle Rayner, and Hal Jordan), Martian Manhunter, Zatanna (why?), Green Arrow (an unlockable character), Aquaman (an unlockable character), Huntress (an unlockable character), and Hawkgirl (an unlockable character). There are also tons of reaaly cool villains (which I will not name to give away anything). There are only two things that are not great in the game. One, the gameplay, and two, I wish they could've thrown in more heroes. I mean, why Zatanna and Huntress? Why not Plastic Man, Black Canary, the Atom, Firestorm, or Blue Beetle? Oh well. Overall, this game is really good.

fun but familiar

kind of fun but very similar to other games ,like Marvel Ultimate Alliance, except with smaller mission teams(with less controller change options) and NO team member choice options, which is the biggest game flaw. plus the voice acting, while well done, is flawed

Pretty Good - But I want More!

I was very excited about this game because I'm a huge fan of the DC Comics universe. I found this to be pretty much a knock-off of X-Men: Legends, but since I enjoyed that, I enjoyed this too, especially since I like the characters better.

Despite what some of these other reviews say, I think the graphics are really good and the characters are true to form. What this game offers is great; I just wish there was more--more story, more levels, more gameplay.

My son loves this game.

He beat the game so quickly, however. It didn't seem challenging enough for him. My son turned 12 in March.
