Square Enix + Disney = Awesome Fun

This game surpasses the first one by far. It is fun, easy to play and is definetly worth the money you payed to play it. You can either play to beat the game, go to different worlds familiar to disney/final fantasy realms or you play the mini games with in or around said worlds. Absoletely wonderful - I could barely put it down.

A decent sequel, but the first was much better.

I must say that Kingdom Hearts 2 is a fairly great game. However, my biggest dissapointment with this game, is the storyline. Too much of the plot focuses on each world's Disney storyline, instead of focusing on the Organization or Heartless. The first Kingdom Hearts had a much more original story.

The gameplay improvements, while nice, weren't exactly nessecary, because the original had great gameplay. The original game also seemed like there was more to do: 101 Dalmations, Trinitys, Secret Bosses, etc. and the item synthesis was alot easier in the first game. Getting the secret ending in the first was also easier, if you want the secret ending in Kingdom Hearts 2, I suggest beating it on Proud mode, rather than finish the entire journal in the medium difficulty setting. Also playing it on Proud mode is better anyways, seeing as the medium difficulty setting is way too easy.

Overall, Kingdom Hearts 2 is a fun game, and should be bought by anyone who enjoyed the first.

Will keep you addicted from start to finish!!

I wanted to get into Kingdom Hearts sooo bad when i got a ps2. I tried the first one and got about 8 hours into it and thought it was too boring and hard because of the platforming and the boss fights. After a while this one came out and heard many good things about it like it was easier and no more platforming. Well i decided to rent it and give it a go and WOW probably the best rental i've made. Let's get down to what makes the game great:

This game is an RPG adventure game. You go on an adventure with a long story, you can level up your character and customize his attacks. Luckily the fighting system in this game is not turn-based. You go from disney world to disney world doing tasks which revolves around the disney story.

The music in the game is brilliant, some are light hearted while some keeps ur adrenaline up while fighting some bosses, all in all this is a fantastic score. The sound effects are dead on, from the sounds of swords clashing into eachother to footsteps. The voice acting is also good, some parts are "meh" but most arent.

The graphics in this game are pretty good. Not the best but definately not the worst. In other words, they are above-average. Not much else to say about this category.

Replayability is up to you. I personally like to beat games over again. I wait about half a year after a beat a game then pick it up again. Since the game is pretty easy and addicting, i know i will beat this game over and over.

There were problems which some people had with this game. The first thing is that this game was far too easy, well yes and no IMO: you never really need to lever up to beat a boss but some bosses take some tries to beat, i dont want to spoil who but trust me they arent easy the first try. The other problem was that the beginning of the game was too long, this is true. It takes between 2-3 hours to get to the main part of the game, I personally thought the beginning of the game was fun.

All in all i thought this game was brilliant and i definately recommend it even if you didnt like the first KH because, just like in my case, it's funner and has a better flow. 10/10 from me or in this case....5/5

Outstanding

Kingdom Hearts II is an amazing game. The graphics are great and the voices are as well. Though, it's not surprising. It's Square Enix's work.

Almost everything in this game is perfect. Having to fight with the Final Fantasy characters was fun and the story line was somewhat confusing but not very. If you've played the first game, and didn't play the GBA game, you can still make it out.

The only thing that really disappointed me about this is game is that it's a bit short. It was said to be 100 hours of game time though, many of my friends and I beat the game in less than 50. But still, overall, I give this game a 5 out of 5.

a great game

Square and Disney coming together to bring us a video game turned out to really be a good move, I think. Kingdom Hearts II is an improvement over the original. Maybe not a big improvement, but enough to consider purchasing.

The graphics are really good and the difficulty is unfortunately, sort of easy. The game is really big and contains a MONSTER storyline so it's not like the easiness means you can blow through the game on a lazy Saturday afternoon. It just means you won't have much trouble moving through the game. I guess Axel was a fairly challenging fight. Some other fights are sort of difficult, as well.

I'm not entirely sure what to think about the idea of having to complete certain tasks in order to progress forward, but I guess it's not that big of a deal. Worth buying? Absolutely.

This game is just as awesome as the first one if not better. They upgraded the combat system by adding drives but they made the summons less fun to s fight with. That's just the combat system the graphics's are just amazing especially at the ending. They add some new characters as well as keeping some old ones. The storyline is so complex that it would take me a very long time to finish. The characters are very complex as well. It is a very long game (which is a good thing). The music is very fun to listen to and the voices in the game are very well-done too. All in all this is a must-have for all PlayStation 2 owners.

Fav game ever!

My son loves this game. I watch him play it and it is well animated and well written. The storyline moves along smoothly and the action sequences are just hard enough for him. (He's an experienced gamer and 10 years old.) He got it for Christmas and has played it so hard, he's almost finished the game!

The story behind the game is exciting and suspenceful. The graphics are good, especially for the type of game it is. The gameplay is almost as exciting as the story. The fights are difficult but fun. My favorite part about the game is that you get to visit many of the worlds from Disney movies. I recommend this game for people who love Disney movies.

I got this game for Christmas last year, and I'm still playing it. With all the awesome mini-games, sweet combo attacks, intense boss battle, and new worlds to discover, who says that it should be horrible? The graphics are hot, the gameplay is superb, and it functions so well you could be inside the game. I highly recommend this game to all gamers to like magic, Disney, action, and especially RPG's.
