Easy & Fun

Good entertainment for my 3 and 5 yr. old kids. Easy to play for younger children. I was so glad to find a game that wasn't too complicated for my kids to play. Alot of other games say they are for young children but are too complicated. My kids love this.

Ok for the kids, but parents should leave the room

My husband bought this game for our 4 year old, he likes Bob the Builder on TV but this game pales in comparison to the cartoon it is based on. Considering he can't read quite yet the beginning of the game is confusing to him since the titles of the different games don't tell you what is going to be happening when you play the game. It took even me a little while to figure out a couple of the different games. It's a little on the slow side and very little educational value. On the up-side it does have great verbal and written instructions before each different game and although my son enjoys a nice easy game once in a while this one will never be played very often. As for the parents, the repetitive nature of this game will leave you seeking shelter, I love to sit down with my son and play games but when this one comes out of the case I leave the room. I wouldn't buy this game unless you have a lot of patience and a pair of earplugs. I would go for something more fun, less repetive, and more educational.

This is not an adult game!

I see reviews from older people or children. This is a game for young children like preschool-3rd grade. There is very little reading involved but a parents should be close enough just to let the child know what game is which and they click the one they want to play. From that point there is no reading to play each individual game. My 4 year old daughter enjoys it. She calls me when she needs to go back to the main screen and choose a different game. I read them as she clicks through the options and she clicks on the one she wants and play. Really not a whole lot of reading. If you are 4-8 you should enjoy this game. Otherwise I can see how you may use it as a drink coaster.

This was the first computer game for my 4 year old. He learned it easily and can play with very little assistance. I am looking for a sequal.

My 5 yr. old son loves Bob the Builder. He got it for Xmas and he is soooo disappointed with it's lack of interesting and challenging games. And you don't get to build... Sorry I got it.

I bought this game for my almost-six-year-old daughter and she is completely enthralled. The game controls are easy for her to manage and having a "game of her own" makes her feel as grown up as her big brother. There is an educational aspect of the games on the disc as well -- problem solving, sequencing and fine motor skills all get a good workout. Bottom line: good game for those 7 and under.

Hedgehogs or porcupines?

Well, just got the game last week. Not bad. Quite interesting, except that for some reasons, the ad on the case saying "voices from the TV series" doesn't seem true to me. The voice of most of the characters doesn't sound like those on TV (might be because I'm getting the original British version of the show and the game's based on the US version of the show, since it's the US version of the game), and the theme song sounded off (It sounded like kids screaming "Can we fix it" and "yes we can!" in the game, while on TV it sounds like a group of muscle-men screaming out the above lines - The TV version was better IMHO). Also, for some reason, one of the game was called "Porcupine rescue", instead of "Hedgehog rescue" as advertised. Come on, I'm sure you Americans know what a hedgehog is. You guys know Sonic, right?. Still, it's pretty enjoyable. Now, to try to get the original British version of the game...

Can we fix it? No we cant!!!

I bought this game for my 4-year-old's birthday as he just loves Bob the Builder and watches him every chance he gets. He thoroughly enjoys this game. I think it is perfect for a child his age or younger. My 7-year-old enjoys the game too, but loses interest much quicker than my 4-year-old.

Buy for the 2-4 year olds

I bought this for my son who turned 5 in April. He lost interest in most of the games, even on the hardest level. The entire game does not challenge him. It is a cute game, but for younger children.
