I bought this game after viewing the screenshots and hearing of all the variety, hoping it would be good. I was pretty disapointed after I played the game for a good 10hrs.

Graphics: The background graphics themselves are pretty decent, in most places, but the cars look like crap. Even the shadows of the cars are jittery.
Controls: This has got to be the worst feature of the game. You cannot adjust the steering sensitivity which is way too loose. This would be okay if you could use the e-brake to swerve your car around a corner, but if you use the break you car slides forever and goes compleaty out of you control untill you smack a wall to stop. This makes to game very difficult to play.
Sound: Yes, the co-pilot cusses at you when you screw up, but it is all censored... so big deal. No in game music,which did not bother me too much though, but the cars all sound the same.
Realism: The cars get pretty busted up when you just bearly make a mistake, sometimes you hit a wall a certain way and you will automatically be "retired" and you loose the competition. (Sometimes not just one race but 4-5 combined). Doors fly open when you drive too hard and the co-pilot complanes, which is a nice touch.
Fun: Overall, this game was more frustrating then fun. And the fact that you have to "earn" your way to get to drive decent (official) rally cars makes this game a chore to play at first. The controls almost ruin the fun completely. However, since this game has a lot variation comparied to your average rally game (loop tracks and head-to-head competition as well as standard timed rally) it sometimes has an arcade feel to it which could be good or bad depending on what you want.

Overall, Id have to say this game is only worth renting. WRC and V-Rally 3 for the Ps2 are much better. The co-pilot in V-Rally 3 cussus too (though censored like this game) if you must have that feature. I hope this review helps since the other reviews on amazon sure did not help me.

Rally Fusion

Rally Fusion is one of the best rally games I have ever played. I am a fan of rally games and this by far is the best. Here is a list of the pros and the cons. Pros- 1)Realistic damage to your car that effects your preformance. 2)Good looking and awsome cars. 3)Parts really fall off the car. (Ex- doors,spoilers,rear and front bumpers,ext.) 4)Good graphics 5)Many tracks to chose from, from all over the world 6)Many diffrent modes including quick race, relay, and Race Of Champions The only con is that there is only one truck. Isn't this rally? This game is the best!

Great game and a lot of fun

I was waiting for a good rally game with some challenging AI. There it is, this game is great, the AI is pretty good and will not let you go easily. This is far better than V-Rally 3 which was way too easy.

Rally fusion is fun especially in multiplayer with all those different racing modes. The fact that you have to earn the new cars is great even if sometime it s much more time consuming than difficult.

anyway, if you want to have fun, get this game. The one I am waiting for after rally fusion is Colin Mcrae 3 :)

Waste of Money

Total waste of money. Great graphics and a wide variety of game modes is really the only thing going for this game. Besides that it's bad sound effects, totally unrealistic game physics, and the worst customize controller setup ever. Four preset controller configurations, and all the legends for the configurations are wrong. Legend says one button does a certain function but when you get into the game the buttons are different. Yes I've tried them all, they are all wrong.

Probably the worst driving game i have played. The whole game just isn't happening. The control system leaves a lot to be desired. The visuals are way off of the mark.

Why buy this, when there are so many better racers avaliable?

This will be our next game. Demo came out in PS2 mag. Game play is OK, sound effects a bit iffy (cars sound like they are electric). But the brit navigator is too funny, "you broke the F'bleep car". Hopefully will have an adult mode for real cuss words. My wife and I intentionally run into things to infuriate him. Ramming his door into the fence gets him going good. We have so much fun listening to him scream. Oh, if you destroy all the tires the car tends to track better.

the game is more of the regular racing style its boring if your looking for true rally racing dont buy this one.
