Buyer Beware!

This game is fun but it has one big draw back, at least as far as my husband and I are concerned. We both play this game and have attempted to "save" our individual progress but found out the hard way, that the game only allows one profile per memory card! If you try to save a second profile on the same memory card, it will overwrite the previous save. I contacted EA games regarding this issue and they confirmed, only one profile per memory card. So if you too like to save multiple profiles ...

WOW!

What a great game!
Quite possibly the greatest arcade racer of all time!
You basically bounce and slide around the track at incredible speeds....it also shows the damage done to your car along the way.
This game is an absolute blast to play!
If you liked games such as Burnout, Burnout2, etc. then you will absolutely LOVE this game!

A Great Game Nobody Seems to Know About

Now this is a game that surprised me! I expected an arcade-type racer with decent graphics and fun, breezy gameplay. Shox is much more! It features licensed vehicles ( that actually show damage for a change ) in challenging rally-style races with aggressive a.i. opponents. The tracks are slippery and require finesse and lots of powersliding unlike other arcade racers such as Burnout 2 ( great game, by the way ) which take place on highway and city streets. The graphics are excellent and the slow-motion crashes and jumps never seem to get old. But the unique feature and namesake of this game is the "shockwave" that, when earned, shoots down the track like some sort of visual sonic boom that enables the player to hitch a ride so that he or she can seriously out-distance the competition. This game also features night racing ( once the daytime tracks are beaten ) and you can accumulate cash by repeating races until you've earned enough to buy a new ride. Overall, this is a great buy, highly recommended and a must for racing fans.

Really Fun!

This game kicks major [posterior]...! It is a lot like ATV Offroad Fury 2, only you drive cars instead of Quads. Getting major air is the main point of this game and I really like all the customized cars!
