Best way to catch up

As an xmen fan I found this product to be the best method of catching up with the entire back story. Being able to view the comics as published in full color was great. you could print them out if you desire but have to put up with the copyright watermark though every frame. By far this is the cheapest method of catching all these back comics and collectors books. A great addition to any fans collection.

It is great to be able to read all the X-men comics again. They where my favorite as a kid, but didn't get to read the very beginning. I hope that they bring out more of the comic book characters on DVD. I will buy more.

Most of us have no way of purchasing all 40 years of Marvel title that exist but through the CD-ROM collections the Marvel is releasing we now have access. They are a little more difficult to read because of the pages are side to side but still an excellent method of collecting the title.

good but not great

the item got to me pretty fast. It works fine. It just is not the same to have comic book on a computer. I like the paper backs better, but for the price it is worth it.

Good value.

Very good deal for the price alone. I mean 40 years of X-Men comics. Oh Yeah!! One negative thing is the fact that this set does not contain the cross over issues within the 80s, 90s and 00s. So that is the only reason I rated this 4 stars. Oh well, still awesome bang for your buck.

Who'd a thunk you could sit down in the leisure of your own home, and read 40 years worth of comics, on your computer??? This set has reintroduced me to some childhood friends, and reminded me why I was (and still am) a fine.

Good Start

I was totally satisfied with this product. The chances of being able to buy every single one of these comics to be able to read the entire story is virtually impossible or at the least financially prohibitive. The ability to reduce or enlarge the image lets you read a page, a panel, or what ever you like at one time. Now we need all the sister titles so we can see how all the cross title stories fleshed out. I didn't use the print option.

Nice read

It is just as it says. A pdf scan of all comics. It's really neat to read some of these again. Great value and good entertainment.

A perfect gift for the comic book fan who has almost everything

My husband loved this as a gift. He is a long-time comic book fan and this gave him an opportunity to read some of the very first editions that are way before his time. They look amazing on the computer, plus you can print if you want. (with 15,000+ pages I can't imagine why you'd want to) I was concerned about Mac compatibility, but since the thing is just a PDF interface, you just need Acrobat, no special Windows-only software. We're looking to pick up the Spiderman collection next.

X marks the spot for an awesome collection

GIT really did a fine job with these comic collections. Too bad Marvel is now going totally online and won't let anyone have the actual comics in hand anymore. *sigh* Oh, well -- but if you can get it used (or from GIT), go for it. It's definitely worth the money!
