Not a bad game.

Not a bad game(s).

Overall the game play is fun and somewhat challenging.

With the add-on, you find scenerios for Somalia, Columbia, and Iran. Probably the hardest was Somalia especially with the campaign in the Mog. Somlia and Iran are the longest scenerios. Columbia is short.

The graphics are ok and the sound is decent.

However, the one gigantic flaw is the AI. At a distance, you can see a few guys standing around smoking, checking rifles, etc. You snipe one and the others will just stand there.

One minor annoyance is the fact you can reset the campaign. After you complete a one session, it goes down to the play again list

Other then that. I liked the game and it provided many hours of play.

This game provided hours upon hours of gaming, the missions are.
A little difficult but overall, this game was worth every penny.
The missions in the mog are a bit challenging, but i'm glad i
brought this game, but i strongly recommend that only those with.
patience buy this game, because every time, you die you have to.
Start all over again from the beginning.

I noticed one reviewer said you have to start all over if you get killed. That's not true. There is a quick save feature available during game play. Depending on the mission you get up to 5 or 6 saves. All you have to do is hit F5 to save.
The game itself is pretty entertaining and seems fairly realistic. The other soldiers on your squad don't just follow you around to do all the crucial fighting.
The other good thing is that you don't have to have a death star of a computer to run this game. For only $20 it's a good choice.

Great Game.

In 1988, I had the opportunity to join the military but I passed it up. In 1993, there was a situation in Somalia which went into the history books. I sometimes wonder if I would have been there had I enlisted. The game was realistic. I felt as if I was there. The graphics were incredible. The sound blew the roof off of my house. The game was smooth with hardly any glitches. The only problem I ran into was an occasional freeze but this game was worth the price.

DO NOT JUST PLAY THIS SOLO!

All the other reviews spoke of the boxed missions. The real power and FUN behind these games are play on Nova World. You pit yourself against hundreds of others all over the world. All it takes is a modum (or better) this or another NovaLogic game, and your on the WAN killing pixels! No extra charges for playing on Nava World, except your lack of sleep when you first start. Have Fun!

I'm a sucker for shooters and Delta Force: Black Hawk Down is a fun shooter. I think it captures quite well the chaos in Samolia as insurgents come in hordes and are everywhere. They hide around every corner, but don't shoot the friendlies who look very similar to hostile insurgents. They come in waves and more waves toward your team over hills.

Good graphics, lots of action. I recommend this!

Good MP, 3/5 for missions

This game is the best online multiplayer shooter I have played so far. Though the multiplayer is somewhat unrealistic and the graphics can give away things because of minor glitches, it is very fun. The missions are OK but not very fun so you become board with them very fast. The real plus in this game is the multiplayer.

The original Black Hawk Down and Black Hawk Down "Team Sabre" (expansion pack) is a fun first person shooter, however the Joint Operations "Escalation" (not sure if its included in this game pack) wasnt all that fun. But if you are into multiplayer action online, this game pack for the price is unbeatable. Not only is the online play fun, but you get ranked and earn medals through your game play in the Black Hawk Down and BHD Team Sabre versions. Overall its worth the price. ENJOY!!

DF:BHD is the game that I still play with action amazement. The Platinum pack gives new online gamers the pleasure to reach the next step in their online gaming hobby. I did not buy DF:BHD Platinum for myself but as a "Thank you gift" for a friend of mine at work. I introduced him to online gaming and BHD and he loves-it. For $15 plus S&H you cannot beat this great game and the hours you will have shooting other online opponents. These games are good for active or retired Armed Forces personnel. Try-it you won't be sorry. *****
