This game is a great substitution for your younger kids who want the new more expensive Hulk game. They won't know the difference....it's the Hulk and that is all they will really care about. It arrived quickly and in great condition. My 7 and 10 year old sons love it, I bought one for my 6 year old nephew as well and he loves it too. It is rated T because of the "violence" but it is just the Hulk smashing things so it is not what I would consider really "violent".

this game is sweet because you can be grey hulk where he can talk but anyways the only probelm with the hulk is that you cant not free roam on the game all you do is play missions all day until you beat the whole game.but i beat the whole game too in 2 hours. the mission that my favorite is (unfinished business)now that mission is fun.

The best part was some of the "Extra" challenges in this game. The rest of the game unfortunately was awful.
The cutscenes and some of the gameplay graphics aren't all that great. Some of the story missions can be fun, but for the most part kind of boring or way too hard. And in the case with the Bruce missions, just down-right annoying.

I wouldn't recommend this game at all. In fact, there's another Hulk game out there that really lives up to what a Hulk game should be, and it's NOT based on the recent movie: "Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction." Almost fully destructive environments, more unlockable Hulk abilities, and not only that but it's fun to play. Just roam around destroying things and increasing your abilities/combos.

For Kids or Not?

Let's get the two worst things about this game out of the way. The hulk should get rid of David Banner if some super fairy ever comes along offering the wish be fulfilled. The Hulk game is no different. They should have scrapped the banner levels and just shipped a short game. It would have got much better reviews. The banner levels are only terrible in that they are HARD, and they stop you from doing what the rest of the game excels at: smashing things and people as the hulk. Man oh Mickey playing as the Hulk is better than Rock n Roll. Smash walls, people, cars, pillars and everything in sight. This part of the game is awesome. Unfortunately the makers of the game must have known this and so they have you doing it again and again and again. This gets a little monotonous. Luckily it is so much fun that it is not too big of a problem.

Bottom Line: Is it fun? Oh man is it. If you have some love for the green guy, get the game. But, only do so if you can get codes to completely skip the terrible Banner levels. Will I keep it? Tempting, but no. As fun as the hulk levels are they get monotonous. Is it for kids? If you're ok with kids smashing and bashing people the controls are simple enough.

I really enjoyed this game. The CGI scenes were you turn into the Hulk were awesome in a cool cartoony way. The level desighn was really cool. I liked how you could smash through enemies like they were nothing. The villians in this game are really cool too. I didn't like the movie that much but this game makes up for it. It really is a good game. I had some fun with the "stealth" part of the game and the Puzzle were really simple even a 1st grader can figure it out.

The visuals on this for the Ps2 were pretty good. I liked the effects for everything. Good Visuals.

The sound is well...sound..I can't go into that one since it was just average...

The controls are easy to get use to *NOTE* This review is ment for the Ps2 version Since it's the one I played it on.

The games lengh is what kills it. The game can be beatin in less then 3 hours. The game was fun for awhile but playing it for the second time gets really boring. I was a bit dissapointed it ended so quickly.

The Puzzles are simple, the graphics are pretty good, nice controls, average sound a pretty short lengh makes me give this game a

3.1 out of 5..

I honestly wanted to like this game but It was the lengh man! A bit short...MORE THEN A BIT SHORT Acctually!

But this is one of the better Comic book based-movie-based game to come out in awhile. Better then that crap CatWoman but if there is a comic book game you should wait for it's the Punisher. From my opinion that will probably be a really great Comic book game. It looks very promising.

Yeah...so if you are a big Hulk Fan then you'll really enjoy this game but beware! Very short game!..

I really liked the story. Although I liked the movie much more. But it turned out to be a pretty enjoyable game, even my son liked it. Some bosses can be frustrating, especially when they have allies atacking you at the same time. The Bruce Banner missions required some patience but the soldiers sometimes seemed very dumb and you could sneak way to easy in some other points the camera angles didn't allow you to see the all of the guards and you got detected on those stealth missions. The cell shade looked cool. I also liked the fact you could destroy columns, vehicles, walls and use them to attack the enemies. I liked the mission where as Bruce Banner you disguise as one of the soldiers to sneak in the lab.
Another thing is that this game was more than I expected due to the fact it was a licensed game and they usually aren't good except for the Lord of the Rings the EA Games, although the one by Vivendi Universal was good, but not as good as the others.

I think that the hulk is a game that keeps you on the edge of you're seat while the game tests you on how well you can handle, Bruce Bannor, and the Hulk. I highly reccomend buying the game.

Don't waste much money or time on The Hulk for PS2--you'll regret it if you do. Sure, it looks pretty good, and you get to beat people up, but that's about it. Did I mention there is a lot of brainless fighting? You run around as the Hulk (sometimes as Bruce Banner) while hordes of haz-mat looking dudes run up and try to jack you. So you get mad and start throwing them around, punching them, etc. This happens over and over, to "infinity and beyond". Skip this one, it blows.
