If you haven't heard of Command & Conquer, you probably don't play PC games very often. Be advised that these are some of the most universally acclaimed titles ever released, and that you WILL enjoy them! The original C&C is still selling copies now, years after it first hit store shelves. Red Alert is definitely the best follow-up in recent history, and Red Alert 2 is an excellent sequel. The only black sheep here is Tiberian Sun, which was something of a disappointment, but the other three games definitely are worth the value of this bundle.

If you haven't played one or more of these games, this is an excellent time to start! If you haven't played ANY of them (yes, you're one of the five people that hasn't), get it NOW! That's a direct order, mister. Once you've mastered the interface, which should take even a moron only a few clicks, go out and have at it with all your friends. They have probably been playing for some years now, and are secretly cracking jokes about your tactical ineptitude behind your back. Perhaps you'll teach them a thing or two.

I'll never forget playing Command and Conquer way back when in 1996(?) What a great game. Everything about it, from the units, to the background music (truely futuristic and eerire), to the graphics, to the warfare. It was a great game. (to this day I still dont know what the spaceship is on GDI level 2 or 3, I don't remember.)
I got Red Alert for Christmas later on, and it wasn't just a sequel, it was a different take entirely on the series. Once again, a great story along with all of the things I said above. These are the kinda games that you can play for hours because they are so complex and fun. Plus, the multiplayer is addicting.
I haven't played much of TS, but from what I have played, I wasn't truley impressed.
Anyway, I got Red Alert 2 this past Christmas, and let me say, 5 years after playing C&C, I am once again in love with these games. RA2 is the best (gameplay etc) but RA and CC are some of my favorite games of all time. I can't help but feel a strong sense of nostalgia when I look on my RA and CC boxes. I strongly recommend these games to anyone who loves strategic video games.

True undeniable classics!

Forgive me, but before Red Alert, I never heard of the Real-time Strategy genre before. My friend loaned me Red Alert, and I was NEVER the same again. I would spend HOURS UPON HOURS caught up in the conflict between the Soviets and Allies. Then I bought Tiberian Sun, while others say it is bad, I liked it. I also liked Blizzard's Starcraft games, and said that Westwood and Blizzard were the two best in the genre.

No longer.

Westwood has pulled way ahead of Starcraft when Red Alert Two came out. I was surfing the net for stuff to download for Red Alert (I finally got my own copy) and I came across the announcement for Red Alert Two. I got it for last Christmas, and I could not believe my eyes. Westwood took something that was great, and made it even BETTER!

If you have never played a RTS before and are wondering what all the hype is, get this set. If you're a fan of Starcraft (still a great game) and bored, get this set. You will be amazed.

This is great!!

I started playing the C&C games way back, when they came out.
I saw this at a store a few weeks ago and I was like "cool, all 4 of them in one package," so I bought it. I was completely new to Tiberian Sun and RA2 and they totally blew me away. The AI is much better and so are the graphics. However, I must warn you if you are running XP then you won't be able to play the original C&C or the Win 95' version of RA so you will have to install it on DOS. Oh, yeah, I got this 20 dollars cheaper at gamestop so this might not be the place to buy it.

All you need is in there!

Hi,I'm from germany and I purchased this collection because in my opinion these are the best strategy games ever made! The german versions are not as goog as the english because there you have no blood and parts of the movies are cut!Playing Command & Conquer is a fascination I just can`t describe!Everything fits together: great music, cool sound effects, impressive cutscenes and thrilling missions...to sum it all up: it`s fun!!If somebody likes strategy games and doesn`t have these games he has to buy this compliation!

I am 14, and I have been playing C&C since I was 11. I have ever game that is included in this pack. I have been addicted and counld not wait for the next game/expanion pack to come out. I like the Red Alert games better, but both are very Enjoyable. I suggest when you play this game to start with C&C and it's expansion pack, and then Tiberian Sun. After you beat these two games, I would work on the Red Alert Series. I ecspecially enjoy the internet games in RA2 because of all of the diverse Strategies and players you encounter. I hope that you are able to enjoy these games to their full extent.

Great game!

This is the command & conquer players dream come true! Who could ask for a better game? and now you can get 4 for the price of one. Great graphics and sound. The gameplay is some of the best i have ever seen in a while. Some of the movies can be kinda long but put that aside and this game pack rules. Red Alert even has an expansion you can buy and i plan on getting that too. This is a must buy!

The Best !

These are the best games invented, filled with awesome, adventurous missions and multiplay. These games allow you to command your own army. As many men, tanks, trucks, artillery, apc's as you need, even subs and water transports ! Also packed with Air Warfare, with jets and planes and missiles, its just awesome ! Gotta get and have in your game collection or the best beggining of a new collection, its practically its own collection ! Trust Me You HAVE TO have this.

More A Question Than A Review

Well, the ultimate collection of C&C games. We've played 'em all time and time again and still love 'em. I really wanna write this review though because I have an urgent question to ask that needs answering. Obviously, the collection comes with the original C&C. Is this the original version or Windows optimized version? Ever since someone borrowed the original C&C from me and never returned it, I've been desperately searching for a new copy of the game and I really don't want the Windows version of the game. I don't like it! Anyway, I'm willing to play for the whole bundle just for that game alone, assuming it's the original C&C. So, if anyone knows for sure, please let me know if it's the original version or the... Windows version. Thanks. Oh yeah, C&C rocks. Buy this if you don't own any of the games.
