Black Crypt is a first person real time adventure game that sets you in a fantasy dungeon where your objective is to fight your way to the bottom level and get all these ultra powerful weapons, presumably for some ultimate battle. You have a party of four user created characters with varying magic and fighting abilities. Healing is accomplished by sleeping in the dungeon; eating and drinking are also required periodically. The battles are fast and furious as you scramble to control four characters simultaneously in real time, which is actually easier than it sounds, but it is still quite challenging and quite a thrill. This is a great adventure game which is on its way to becoming a classic, and gives you a good feel for the Amiga 500's impressive gaming capabilities.
