Sims 2 Pets is Great!!

Sims 2 Pets is a realy fun game that will get you addicted to it right away! I think it is the best game Maxis has ever made! You can have Cats, dogs, fish, a cross between a hamster and a Giunie Pig, chickens that play chess and more. The only thing that they left out is baby making but who cares! So what, you can`t make babies, your pets can still breed. Here is some advice if you buy the game or rent it. If you want to make alot of pet points when you first make your family make at least 1 male pet and one female pet of the same animal then when you start the game buy a pet house and make your pets have offspring.DO NOT MAKE YOUR DOGS OR CATS AGGRESSIVE OR THEY WILL NOT BREED! After the pets have a baby wait till the kitten or puppy is an adult. Once it is an adult go to town square and sell it. You get 350 pet points most of the time. Another tip is to have atleast 2 pets of the same kind or your pet might get lonley and depressed. One more tip is to get yourself a roommate that is good at cleaning so your house is nice and fresh and your person and pets are happy. But if you dont keep your house clean your cats and dogs will try to eat pee, garbage and other dirty thing and alot of the time they pass out after they do click on revive pet. The good thing about Sims 2 Pets is that your people or pets cant die that way you don`t have to be sad when you or your pets pass away. You`re pets run away alot. but when they do go to your your phone and report lost pet. Your pet usally comes back on it`s own. if you see it walk by go to it and click on special and go to take in stray. You also still have pools. Some people say you cant have pools. I don`t know why.As you spend you pet points at town square the shops will upgrade sometimes and sell more pet supplys. I do addvise you to buy this realy fun game.

do you want to buy this game?

this game is so much fun, and the graphics are SO COOL!!!!!! and the best part is that you can move the sim around yourself by actually moving them yourself like in normal video games!!!!!!!! (sorry if that was confusing) the only bad part is that your pet runs away A- L-O-T! so i would only buy this game if you are good at taking care of your sim, and know how to take care of lots of problems. because my pet kept running away beacause i had to much to do with my sims house so i could not take care of the pet!

also if you arent that good, then i recomend that you only make one sim and one pet.

speaking of making your sim. if you make a girl then be aware, because all the make-up they have is girly and lots and lots of ugly goth make-up and only ONE normal. so dont say i did not warn you!!!

:P

Its a awsome game!

I thought it was hard at first, but after deleting my old game and trying it again, it was so much fun! When you go to the park, you can buy awsome stuff for you and your pet(s), meet new people and become friends, and more! But heres a tip: When you first start the game, only get One or two pets because when I first started, I got five pets and it was a disaster! Now I play for hours, and I just can't stop playing! I would recomend it for anyone who loves animals or just anybody who loves spending hours playing video games! It's a must have game!

The Sims 2: Pets... literatelly pets.

I decided to write a well-thought review for the second time since the last time I reviewed this I was really just venting. And a lot of people disagreed with it, so here is what I actually think.

The Sims 2: Pets revolves around the pets a little too much. Most of the objects revolve around the pets in the game. Like, most of the descriptions say something about pets. Puns, actually. I think they should have just toned it down just a little bit. I mean, we do want something to be about the sims, too. What if we got tired of having to take care of the pets over and over. It does get repetitive at a point, you have to agree.

The Pets actually can breed, which made me disappointed and upset since if they could get the pets to breed, why didn't they put in the ability to create several generations of a family? And the puppies and kittens grow up a little just WAY too fast. It was too fast for me to count how long it took for that little puppy in a basket to grow into a neon purple dog with weird fur patterning. The genetics don't really work out in this game. I mean, I don't have any neon animals in my neighborhood, trust me. I ONLY have the basic colors. And after the puppies and kittens grow up, they seem to fight with the other pets all the time, so the only option you have is to give it away.

The sims don't have any more things. Actually, they are more limited than they ever were. WooHoo'ing has been taken out of the game for some reason, which made the game a little too cutesy and cheerful. I would like to have them have some fun at least once in a while! And trust me, the Sims seem to like to reject you EVERY time your sim opens it's mouth. It's extremely hard to make friends with the sims without using the garden swing. I mean, I do a romantic kiss on Betty and then a romantic hug and then I try to do a romantic kiss again, Betty pushes me away. The interactions effects are very random. And Betty was my sim's wife.

You no longer can marry as many sims as your sim's heart desires. It actually was fun seeing how many people you could get married with in the Sims 2 for gamecube. You only can marry one sim. That's it. But at least if your sim is mean and stuff to you, you can simply tell the sim to beat it with that awesome kick out interaction. And trust me, you will need it with the 239857195 interaction rejections you get.

The objects are actually cool. There's a giant stereo which has some nice songs. In simlish, of course. But that's just one aspect of the game. There are a lot of new objects. And guess what it actually was inspired by? Animals. A little too annoying. I mean, does any house actually have furniture that is shaped like a cat's head? Or even a bed? Linoleum flooring that has pawprints on it? Not too common if you ask ANYONE.

So I'm actually trying to say... they should have thought more about the sims. Both pets and sims should have had the equal amount of effort the producers put in the pets. I'm just disappointed that the game was just extremely re-vamped and the Sims actually are worthless. They don't mean anything since they only can have jobs, talk to other sims and sit around. The pets have more opportunities. I just hope to God that next time they do some thinking about the sims too.

This was my thought-out non-flaming review. I hope you all don't disagree with it as much as you did with my last one.

This Sims is more decent than the other ones

[...]Anyway, I'm new to the Sims, and this one is one of the most fun and addicting games that I've ever played. When you start the game, you have to design your own family using fun and interesting clothes, body ajustments, and personality ajustments, which was a blast for me. You can also make a pet(s) for your sim family. You may then design and build your family a house, furniture, and much more. You can make plenty of families to fill the houses around the neighborhood! Be warned, though, that you can only make 6 members per family. This was aggrivating, but not enough to spoil the game for me.

The Sims speak in gibberish, so while you can start conversations with other Sims, you wont be able to understand what they're saying. I wish the Sims would actually TALK, because with all the, well, talking you do in this game, it can start to get boring listening to gibberish for 20 minutes straight.

What I like best about this Sims is that it doesen't go TOO FAR in the romance department. Most of the other Sims I've played, well, gave you a LITTLE MORE information in that department than you wanted... Too much sexual themes.

Anyway, I think that this one is one of the most enjoyable games I've played in a long time. I reccomend it to both old fans and new ones like me :)

A Decent Game

I got the sims 2 pets as a gift from my fiance. Over the years there have been a lot of sims games for the various consoles. The sims 2 pets is a decent game. You get to design pets, sims, and their living enviorments. Out of a rating from 1 to 10 with 10 being the best I would rate this game a 7.5/10. This game does have a lot to offer even though at times it can feel lacking in some areas. There are a lot of objects to decorate your home and you can choose from a variety of different houses. However this game seems to just be focused on the pets and nothing else. You do have a downtown area but all the shops are for the animals, nothing for the sims. There is a lot of objects to decorate your house with but again a lot of the objects seem to be pet themed. Overall though this is a fun game to play. You can make any kind of house you want and you can have some furry friends. I just wish however that this game was more focused around a family of sims and pets instead of just the pets. Decent game would recomend it if you love animals.

Best sims game ever!

First of all, the cheats are the crappiest things EVER! I'm only 11 but when I'm buying a game, I know what I'm looking for! The sims is always one of my top choices but the one for the gamecube should NOT be bought! It's so dumb, the only thing you can do is spend money! Don't you want those instant millionaire sims sometimes?? Well, I do. When I have searched up the cheats, they don't work! I have had everyone in my family try them, and I have tried them! DO NOT GET THIS GAME! It's fun to some extent, but you know, how you like to get that certain toy, but you don't have enough money. Just really, don't get this one! Get the others.

4 stars MAX!!!!!!!!
