challinging fighting game with sluggish monsters

This game is fun but sometimes can get fustrating. Sometimes its satisfying beating down a tough monster. There is an Adventure mode but however, defeating a monster won't unlock it. I disliked the part of the game a lot. There are a few cool cities you can fight in though, like London. The sound effects are loud and exiting. Overall, this is the type of game I'd just rent.

Oh my god....zilla good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never even watched or paid attention to Godzila but the game looked good so I rented it and OH MY GODZILA!!!!!!!It has a great layout and its so funny throwing clasic characters half-way through Tokyo or into the Seatle Space Needle and knocking it over.Under my opinion this is the best game on Gamecube. If you dont know about buying or not............buy it.

Ah Gojira, we luv ya.
In this game, which is almost entirely lacking in plot, u can play as any of eleven monsters from teh Gojira films, adn run around ripping on each other, and the cities around you. It's a party game, and fun as all get out

Godzilla Wrestlemania!

This is EXACTLY what a Godzilla game should be! After years of bad games and even some strategy games (WTF?) Godzilla is done justice. This is exactly what you think it is, gigantic monsters beating each other senseless while cities crumble around them. The game feels like a WWE game with it's combo of strikes and grabs, but it's much simpler and easy to learn. Maybe too simple for a gamer looking for complexity. But younger players and ESPECIALLY lontime Godzilla fans must try this game out.

Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Reveiw

This is one of the best games I've ever played. Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee includes 11 different monsters based on the Toho series: Godzilla 90's, Godzilla 2000, Destroyah, King Ghidorah, Rodan, Anguirus, Mech-King Ghidorah, MechaGodzillaII, Gigan, Megalon, Orga, and it is rumored that you can also play as Godzilla 80's and/or Space Godzilla. There are 2 1P modes of playing. The first one is adventure mode. You select your monster and battle 8 other monsters(one at a time). In survival mode you select your monster and keep fighting monsters until you lose. There are also multiplayer modes but I'm not gonna tell you about those.

A great game to rent, but it may not be worth buying.

This game is so darm fun to play with your friends that I can't help but give it 5 stars! If your a Rampage or Godzilla fan then you will love this game! Also, I see many people compare this game to Super Smash Bros. Melee. I think Godzilla and Smash Bros. are two different types of fighting games and should not be compared. So lets look at the game to see why it got 3 stars overall!

Graphics: The graphics are pretty good. Each city is highly detailed and you can really see everything very clearly. You can even see the scales on a monster! The developers really put a lot of effort into the graphics.

Controls: The controls are a bit willy nilly if you know what I mean. It's hard to move a monster once they are locked on to an opponent and the combos are pretty tricky to use. However the controls arent't terrible but rather just take some getting used to.

Storyline: The storyline is pretty basic stuff, but what do you expect! It's a fighting game not an RPG! When you play adventure mode you'll take control of one monster and battle other monsters! Aliens from a distant planet plan on taking over earth. They have taken over Monster Island and are controling its monsters using their mind-control device. However one creature has broken free of their control. That creature is the creature you select at the select monster screen! After battling all of the other monsters you fight the alien's monster which is Mechagodzilla! If you play as Mechagodzilla yourself then you fight Mecha-King Ghidorah! Overall the plot is okay for a fighting game.

Music/Sound: The music can really get old! There is only one track so it's always the same thing! Nothing new! The sound on the other hand is pretty good! Each monster has their own screech and sounds! From Godzilla's classic roar to Orga's terrifying screech this game has got good sounds! If you listen closly you can here a bunch of people screaming with terror! Sweet!

Fun: This game is so much more fun when you have friends to play with you! Up to four players can battle it out! However in single player mode it can get very repeative! Sure you can test yourself in survial mode but if you really wanna have a blast then you gotta have other players with you! Adventure mode is a bit too easy, even on hard! It can get really boring!

Overall this game is fun but repeative! I would definatly advise you to rent this but it's not this best buy around.

This is a very fun game. there's a lot of cool monsters and throwing the tower of londen is not something you can do in every game. the single player mode is o.k. but the good stuff lies in the multiplayer. lots of multiplayer modes and a building destruction mode makes for tons of fun. definetally worth the $. this is all good, but it's not as good as super smash brothers melle which is one of the best party games if not the best, and also one of the greatest gc games. buy it today, but buy ssbm first.

DC here. This game got me hooked and to this day I still play it. The monsters are cool and the controls are easy to get used to but the game is more fun when you play multiplayer mode. The story wasn't all that great but hey, most games are like that. I recommend this to all G fans out there. Thanks to all the people who made this excellent and addictive game.

THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
