I just received my GBA advance today at work, and needless to say I have not gotten much work done! The screen is a bit dark, but the light does help quite a bit. It is much easier to hold on to than the original GB and the button placement is better too. The classic games take me back to a time where you would spend at least $10 in quarters plaing these same games every weekend, and now I have them in my own home. I also purchased Super Mario Advance. Yet another flashback to the video arcade. This system will keep me feeling young for a long time.
Did I buy a lemon!!!

I recently bought the Arctic Game Boy Advance Classics Game Pack. I was prepared for the tiny screen, but I was not prepared for how extremely dark the screen while playing the game. It is so dark, that I'm thinking this unit must be defective. I can't believe anyone willa appreciate attempting to play games on this unit. All that said, I have tried only the Namco Museum game which came with the GBA. I fear buying any other games as they may be too dark to play as well. The worm light that came with the GBA seems to be a poor attempt to mask over how really dark the screen is. Nintendo should be embarressed to release the GBA to the Public (if most of the games show up as dark as the one I have).
