I recieved this game as a gift at the same time i got my gameboy color and it was a lot of fun and quite challenging. Now about 2 years later i have beaten the game but there is still much more to do on here. I found no faults with the game ( i wasn't looking for say.. the screen not being big enough) it was a lot of fun and there are many bonus things to do afterwards.

Anyone who disses Mario games ought to be slapped alongside the head! Okay maybe that's a bit much but this game IS great! This is THE classic game, along with maybe Pac-Man. THe game is, in a word, amazing. If for some strange reason you've never played it--you need to get it! Or at least rent it! This was the game that really made Nintendo's name, and brought console gaming mainstream. May 2D Mario forever be this golden!

I love this game! At first it may seem a little easy,but when you get to world 9-1,it's impossible! Hours & Hours of fun! Sure,the same old dull-er graphics may show up-but that dosen't mean it isn't good! You can evn have more fun with a game boy printer!

This game is one of the best ones I have ever played on game boy, nintendo, playstation and game boy color! It is challenging, fun, and has great graphics! You can replay the levels you've won in challenge, battle with other players, have your fortune told, and even do bonus levels! You have got to get this game, peeps!

This game rox! I got it as my first game, and seriously, I can't find a better one! I have shopped around, and everything else seemed like it would be childs play copmpared to this! A MUST HAVE FOR GAME BOY COLOR!

SUPER MARIO BROTHERS IS GRAET. IT IS FUN AND ALSO A CHALENGE. IT HAS 8 WORLDS AND 4 LEVELS IN EACH WORLD. HOW COOL IS THAT.IF I HAD OT PICK 2 GREAT GB GAMES I WOULD PICK SUPER MARIO AND MICKEYS RACEING. I THINK YOU SHOULD BUY IT BECAUSE IT IS ALOT OF FUN!!!!!!!!!!!

My SNES won't fit in my suitcase. This solves that problem. It's a classic title, and most of the cheats are still there. The You vs. Boo races are really addictive. Just a little thing I picked up: 'Select' at the map screen lets you be Luigi. Enjoy!

We bought this game 2 months ago and we are not tired of it yet. This is one of the most challenging and multi-level games we have found for Gameboy. It has been enjoyed by 7yr old to Dad. After getting high score it opens up new things to do.

I was a vivid gamer back in the day, and Mario was always one of my all time favorites. I have long since moved away from the video game scene, but now and then I play the classics on the PC. And when I played this version, I was amazed at how great it had been revived to the GBA. The graphics are the same, the gameplay is the same, the sound is the same, but there is new extras and bonus stuff, a pathway to choose, multi player ect.. I have to say this is the best Mario Bros. (1) game ever! Even better then Mario All Stars (snes) version!!!
