Catz rulez!

This game is fun! I am a cat lover. The Game Boy version is kind of hard at first, but once you know what to do, it's easier. I have the computer version, and it's a little bit faster than the Game Boy version, but they're both very fun. I think that other 11-year-olds like me will like it!

A really cute game

This game is so fun! since you get more catz from sucessfully raising your catz, it never gets boring! Also, each breed needs different kinds of care to make it hppy and healthy. It is so fun!

Fun for a while...

Catz for GBC is a cute game for all ages. It is a lot of fun for a little while, but if you like action, it's not for you. You will get tired of it easily. Even I did, and I'm a die-hard fan of the computer versions. From the start, you adopt one of three cats from the pet shop- Siamese, Calico (which isn't actually a breed, but oh well), or Persian- and take care of it until it is old enough to be retired. For each cat you retire, another will be available to adopt in the pet shop, so you'll never run out. Each game comes with a variety of toys and objects to care for your cat, and one special toy is included in each game. To collect all of the breeds and toys, you have to trade with other gamers. If you liked the first version of Catz for the computer, you will probably like it.

Shortcomings- There are only 3 breeds of cats in the game, which is disappointing. The graphics are cute, but nothing special, and there are very few sounds in the game. Gets boring really fast- It's a lot like Tamagotchis or Giga Pets- if your cats' levels are high, you really have nothing to do for a while. Also, your catz cannot interact with each other, which means, sadly, no breeding.

For another game like this, try Dogz for GBC. Get this game if you can find it ..., but don't bother spending ... for it. My overall recommendation would be to buy Catz 3 or 4 for the computer, where you can feed, groom, play, and even breed the catz. The computer games carry another perk, an online Petz Community (which, sadly, is declining) where breeds, toys, and clothes can be downloaded.

I love Catz! It is awsome! I have the computer verson and I liked it better on the Gameboy. I would like to say that Catz is the exact same as Dogz though, so ckeck into that too! I liked how you can get the toys. I play this game everyday. I would recommed this game for children ages 7-12.

I have the computer version of this. I have had a lot of fun with it, so I decided to get the Game Boy version. It is not as fun as the computer version since you can only take out 1 toy and 1 pet at a time, but it is a lot of fun to train the cat to do things. I would definitely recommend getting this if, and especially if you are a cat lover.

Its the kind of game that is better played 5 to 10 minutes at a time. Its like Tamagotgi or Giga Pets, when their stats are high, ther's nothing much to do.

CATZ -virtual pet

This "game" is nothing more than a virtual pet. There isn't much you can do with it. There are no mazes or games you can play with the cat. Only one cat can be played with at a time. You can't put two cats in the same room at the same time. Save your money and buy a key chain virtual pet if thats what your looking for.

More of a "Nurturing" Game

Although not a seek-and-destroy carnage-lain WWII video game, the premise of Catz is very cute. It is a simplified version of the computer game. You are allowed three different types of cats to care for, and earn toys and breeds as you successfully raise the kittens. You have to maintain a level of happiness. Their adorable little synthesized meows of happiness are very rewarding.

This is more a game for those who loved the idea of a Tamagotchi or Gigapet; a little animal to nurture.

Great!

I have played w/the software version, and I find it is very neat. I mometarily played the GBC version(while waiting for the bus) and almost missed the bus, it was so good! I think I would have forgotten to get on the bus had not my friend wanted to get the GBC back. I think the infared port idea was cool, because all the other games require game link cables. I was beginning to think it was just a red piece of plastic.

Love It!!!!!

This game is awesome! I like playing with my cat and making it love me. I play it every day There is only one bad part, you can only adopt three kinds of cats.
