I cant see the where the folks who gave even ok to this product came from, I found teh controls so difficult to use after hrs of playing i still couldnt finish the 1st mission. Move forward and reverse on 1 stick, turn left and right on the other. I couldnt handle it and probably wont even try agian im so fustrated.

I don't know much but this game is all right.

Well I've played HALO and the graphics are fiar but the soildeiers are supposed to have the same uniforms! I mean what would war be if you didn't know who's on your side or not. Seriously trying to remeber that Bob's blue and andy's purple that the medic is pink I'mean come on!

I like the title says I don't know much but this game is all right. My freind (who owns HALO and pre ordered HALO2)is a tech maniac putting it lightly and fills me in on all lot of graphics mumbo-Jumbo and according to him the didn't even tape much of the PS2 power.

As for the controls they could be better but hey if you are dissing the people who made this try it yourself. I have a copy of Blitz Basic which is a beginers try at game designed trust me there's alot more to it than typing numbers. You have to do practicly pages of math just to do somethin like Alien Attack which was state of the art back way back when.

Now I'm a thirteen year old go ahead and pass over me now if you wish but gaming is about all my freinds and I talk about from codes to the latest flight simulater (which were all crazy about flying). So this game is pretty good for my standards but keeping the dissing about the desiners of this game to a minamal.

I'm going to be short.
1) the game is fun.
2) grphics arnt bad but just not good.
3) story is just fine but not to engaging.
4) the game takes a sort of feird turn tword the end.
5) the game is chalenging.
6) wepon veriety is good.
In short if you realy want a fps get killzone. If you dont like the realizm of killzone get this game.

This is simply the worst game I have ever played. PS1 graphics really bring it down. And the enemies, they're so stupid!! The seargeant with the chainsaw tap dances and does some ballet instead of just running over to you. The character models are worse than pac-man models. Extremely blocky enemies, they're like little midgets. Wow, humans sure look like total doofuses in the future. I hope they burn every single copy of this terrible game. And for those of you wo say this game could match Halo: get off of the Vodka.

I'm not really 12 either, I'm 15, I just don't feel like setting the email thing up.

This was terrible.

Frankly, anybody that says this game is "HALO for PS2", is delerious. This game was bad. Not good, not even mediocre. It was terrible.

The graphics and textures were grainy, bland, and sported far less detail than the PS2 is able to crank out. The controls were unreponsive, the weapons themselves were extremely inaccurate, the enemies were idiots, and the game's design and gameplay was linear to the point of obnoxiousness. You spend most of the game running down narrow corridors, fighting enemies hiding behind bits of cover, hunting for a key to open a door with. The multiplayer mode had a paltry few small, poorly rendered maps. There was no variety in the enemies in the game, and very little variety in the weapons.

This game was substandard even judging by other FPS games that this same company has made. THQ also made Red Faction II, which was light-years beyond this in quality. Timesplitters 2 is light years beyond this. SOCOM is far superior to this. Even the PS2 port of QUAKE III is better in terms of action and level design and graphics quality.

In general, it felt like this game was simply unfinished, and that no effort at all was put forth into making it. It could have been much, much better without pushing the envelope of what the PS2 can do. This game was simply a product that was rushed out the door without any revision or tweaking. I would not recommend it to anyone. Get Red Faction II instead.

More than I expected.

When I turned this on I was a little bit disapointted in the first few missions but later on it gets far more exciting. The weapon types are interesting and the sounds are great. I would reccomend this to anyone who plays warhammer 40,000. (Which is a table-top game). Ufortunately it is ruined by the first few missions you play.

By the Way the last person to review doesen't know what he's talking about cause the enemies on the first 33 levels are space marines.

THIS GAME ROCKS!!! (only second to HALO)

'ello fellow gamers. If your looking for a difficult, bloody, and not to mention extremely dark, this game is for you. Although the title says that it is second to HALO(Xbox) it kind of is the "HALO" for PS2. Unfortuanty (probably spelled it wrong) the only drawback is that the multiplayer is **** and controls take a while to get. I nailed them after the first mision. Quick to learn and so much better for me not to kill the Japanese in Medal of Honor, Rising Sun (I hate that game).

I thought that this is much less confusing then the board game. I love that game too and painting the models. It seems kinda creepy in the GW magazine how Kuju (maker of the game) said you should have a light on when you play this game. Well duh! It's not that scarey. And thank god you can use swords and you wont make people lose their heads literaly!

The weapons are really cool but some of them lack ammunition and some lack power. Those that lack power have lots o ammo and those with ammunition are pretty powerful or lose ammo fast but most of them reload pretty fast. The scenery is beyond cool (if you can see it of course) but the game moves so fast you don't to see much.

If the Sergeants get you mad in the begginning, then space marines will really anoy you!

Great

I've played tau in the table top game.I would have to say it's quite realistic.I liked the game a lot and I think it could be one of the best games of the year.
