Total opposite of first Fighting Force! Goldeneye for SEGA

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 36 / 44

It plays just like Goldeneye 007! It sports amazing graphics and runs smooth at 60 fps with no popup even with all the action. It is very unlike the 1st side scrolling Fighting Force, it plays a lot like Metal Gear Solid because sometimes you have to sneak instead of straight on kill everybody in sight. It has multiplayer but I have not played it. Bottom Line: amazing game, good graphics, lots of action, cool weapons (awesome sniper), amazing frame rate, and multiplayer! Fans of Goldeneye and Metal Gear check it out!

FUN and GUNS!

This game is great! I don't know what some of the other reviews on here a talking about! It's a Fighting game with LOTS of weapons and tonnes of levels (which I'm having trouble getting through!). The last thing I would call this game is bad. Admittedly it's got very little story bit WHO CARES it's a GAME! FF2 uses a lot things taken from other (great) titles (Fighting Force I/MGS/Syphon Filter), but it's kind of a mixture of what I like the best in all of them! Lots of locations/a little adventure/simple puzzles but most of all.... Lots of fighting and what with! Bats, pipes, pistols, Uzis, Assault rifles, a REALLY cool Rocket launcher, grenades, flame throwers..... It's so cool blowing the hell out of a stack of oil drums and watching the enemies reaction! I could go on but I'm getting off here to gun some more bad guys!

Give it a chance...

Look, I bought this game and let me tell you, it is not the best game. But, to actually enjoy it to it's full potential, you have to stick with it. Once you get past the gameplay and other things, and get really good at the game, you'll like it. ONLY FOR THE PATIENT GAMER!

Fighting Force 2? A major suprise and disappointment

With horrible sound, annoying movement and control, this game puts Eidos and Core to shame. Like we havent already seen enough crappy games such as every single "Tomb Raider". The suprise to me was how different it was from the first one. I respect its way of a different kind of gameplay that only a few games use such as "Syphon Filter" and "Metal Gear Solid". Not to mention the graphics are terrible and certainly did not take full advantage of the systems capabilities. If you've seen the previews for games "Shenmue" or " R.E. Code Veronica", those are examples of superb graphics. The levels in the game are just long, not because they are hard, just because they're really...really.....long and boring. The challenge isnt really there but if you're looking for a quick, fun, game to play, by the end of the weekend you'll be happy you hadnt bought it. Save your money, there will be bigger and better dreamcast games to come.

ok, despite the negative reviews, for this lackluster sequel. ff2 is your basic mediocre game at best. but it does has it's moments.

in ff2, you play the main charcter from the first game (HAWK) who romps and stomps his way through many terrorist bases and so forth, the premise is more like a poor man's syphon filter, with much better graphics, which do not do the DC any justice. crummy punch & kick moves, no solid storyline like METAL GEAR or SYPHON FILTER. and even worse. not enough save points, u could play over an hour in just one level. and if u get killed more than twice; "GAME OVER MAN" )0=

NOW WHAT I DO LIKE; is the character designs (that looks like it came straight out of a G.I.JOE cartoon, hey it's no coincidence why he's called HAWK.) The weapons are cool especially the POWER GLOVE and the first person sniper mode plays an important part in stragety.

with that said, i can only recommend ff2, for fans of this kinda genre. otherwise wait for the upcoming hits like zombie revenge or carrier. ff2 is like junk food, u know it's bad for you, but you cant throw it away, at least till you finish half of it.

OK

I have played this game with the playstation one and this game to me is more of an adult game due to the nature of the game

Actually, I would give this 3 1/2 stars. The thing is, it's medicore, has middling graphics, average repetitive gameplay, and can be tough to beat. So it's not that much fun in single player. But where it shines is multiplayer! I can't tell you how fun it is to hook up with some of your friends and unload on all the baddies in this game. Added bonuses are the guns and stuff you can pick up. Final Fight games were always meant to be played with a friend, just like the Double Dragon games before it. Get it if you've got friends and controllers; pass it if you're a lonely gamer with no friends.

The reason for my low score is this I have more of a questionthan a comment for the readers out there. I feel the game would bemore fun if I could advance out of a specific room. If I can explainit right. It's the room where you shoot the computors ,chairs, copymachine, soda machine etc. (I know there's a lot of rooms like that)it's about the 3rd or 4th room and I go to the corner of the room towhat seems to be a door but when I approach it there's an X above myhead and I'm pressing all of my buttons to open the so called door andit won't open. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET OUT OF THIS ROOM!!! other wiseI would really enjoy this (despite some bad reviews) game! Any helpwould be useful...
