Set against a colorful and pseudo-Triassic background much like the one seen on "The Flintstones", this game is a lot of good old fashioned, side-scrolling video game fun. There are some features here as well that add another dimension to the standard gameplay, including getting enough money to furnish your hut, buying food, and trying to impress bachelorette cavewomen so that you can marry them and make unibrowed cavebabies with them. The boss battles are difficult, but not "Battletoads difficult", and will ensure that you have a nice challenge to work with without the gameplay getting downright frustrating.
I loved this game as a kid, and still enjoy it today. It shouldn't be too hard to beat, providing that you're over the age of 15, but the game is fun and should manage to keep you satisfied throughout its duration just on the basis of its charm.
