Same as everyone--piece of ****

I bought two of these, and the down arrow stopped working on BOTH within two days. I noticed this long before I read all the reviews that told of the same problem, but when I saw the reviews I realized that it was the product itself. Amazon took it back (I think, because it's been 5 days and I haven't gotten a refund yet), but my friend has the wireless pad and says it's terrible. I don't want to spend a crazy amount of money, and I want to buy new pads from a reliable dealer. What should I get that works for Xbox? And do the simple Intel Dance Pads work for Xbox? If someone could write a response review, that'd be great.

Good purchase for an extra dance pad

This dance pad was good for the price. I would like to be able to purchase another Konomi dance pad, but have been unable to find somewhere to purchase one. I haven't had any errors with this dance pad yet, but the lights at the top of the pad are a little ridiculous. At any rate, this is a fine purchase for an additional dance pad.

Couldn't be better

Outside of the pads at the arcade or putting down over $100 for a solid pad, this is the best out there. The pads are very responsive and have a nonskid surface on the bottom so they don't slip around. Great buy!

Hi, I got two of these pads for my birthday. One pad worked for about a week. The other failed overnight. I was very upset, my dad, he got me two different pads. Its called Ignition, it may be expensive, but dont waste your money on this pad, it sucks

I need to send this product back. I used it once and it was great. Went to use it the second time and something is wrong with the pad. When I go to the menu to choose a program it keeps running up and down the opinions and will not allow me to click on just one program. How do I exchange this for a new pad that works? Thank you, Sandi Polllpeter

Response for J. Baer

Hey J. Baer, sorry this response is so late, but I noticed you were asking about a good dance pad for the X-box. I wholeheartedly recommend the RedOctane.com Ignition Pad (Dual Platform Edition). The cord is split at the end so that it will work with either PSX/PS2 or X-Box. Its quite a bit more expensive ($109.95) than the pad listed on this page, but it is well worth your money. I'm an officer for a DDR club at a university and we've bought these pads for our club with money from dues. Most hardcore members (including myself) own Ignition pads themselves because they are the favorite softpad among the DDR community. We also have 2 Cobalt Flux pads, which are incredible, but not very practical for your purposes ($300 each).
Check out the RedOctane website and see what you think. They are definitely worth your money. We have been having problems with one of our pads lately, but thats because they get so much usage by all our club members. If it is just for your home and you take good care of it I'm confident you will be very satisfied.

My kids loved this pad. Sadly, I will be sending this item back yet another time. I originally bought this for my daughters for Christmas. It lasted about 2 weeks, one of the things on the pad doesn't work. Now they say it is broken yet again. I'm going to just ask for a refund. The dance pad that came with the actual x-box cd works fine. This one, which the kids say is thicker--keeps breaking!

Light Up features?

I love these pads, but mine do not light up. Where is it supposed to light up at? Please send email response to chris@thebondster.com. The pads do slip on some kinds of carpet, but overall they are very good and durable, im looking to purchase 2 more to add to my collection.

Fun for the family

The dance mat is fun for the entire family. The description should not be 'video game' as it cannot be used by itself. This should be stated in the description.
