Auto center the camera in options menu

3 Rating: 3, Useful: 4 / 5

I agree with the other reviews as far as the controls on the game felt akward at first until I went into the options menu and change the configuration to "AUTO CENTER CAMERA VIEW " on.
Then I noticed the difference in the gameplay during the heat of gun fire at first it was hectic trying to get the right angle where to shoot and who to shoot.I kept getting killed during the whole process. But once I made the changes in the option menu with the auto center I was able to pick enemies off with no problem.
If the makers of the game had this option already on when you first put the game on it may get better reviews. And I as far as the graphics I thought they were decent on a regular tv. then I played it on a 55in HD tv and to me it made a much bigger difference. Also the games has multiple endings.
I suggest changing the the auto center on and play it in high definition and you should have a fairly decent shooter on your hands and get more replay value from it.

Challenging and Frustrating

Let me first start off by saying that I gave this game three stars for Co-op, not single player. When I first bought this game, I didn't really know what to expect, so I couldn't really be "disappointed". I will say that any game requiring a seperate "level" with no enemies just to learn controls, isn't exactly Next-Gen.

That said, single player is MORE than frustrating. Teamates do little more then require you to give them adrenaline shots every 2 seconds. Your better off telling them to stay put and just dealing with enemies yourself, which only adds to the frustrating of restarting level after level until you've memorized where enemies come from and where all the cover is. However, after pulling most of my hair out, my friend came over and really wanted to play despite my continued warnings of going bald. We played Co-op...it was like playing Kane and Lynch 2! Lots of fun, a teamate who can hold his own, it turned "frustrating" into "challenging", which to a gamer is always better. Plus, you can play as Kane or Lynch, both of which have very different experiences in a number of different levels. Adding another element to the game and classifying it as Next Gen.

Buy this game if you have someone to play it with, otherwise, there are better games for your time and money.

Kane & Lynch: No sequels please!

An interesting concept, but poor execution. Sloppy controls and camera angles. Stupid, stupid, stupid enemy AI. Oppossing forces would run up and put their dumb faces in my gun barrel and beg me to pull the trigger. I tuffed it out through two sadistic cop killing levels and one nightclub massacre before turning it off in disgust. Game looks good graphics wise, but the shoddy movement and over-the-top killing sprees were more than I could tolerate. This is a rental at best to make up your own mind. Eidos did such a great job with most of the Hitman series games, I'm very disappointed.

Not Worth It

When I first read about this game I was quite excited. I just love shooter games and I was looking for one to play with a friend. After reading many negative reviews, I decided to rent it first before shelling out the $50-$60 for the game.
The instruction booklet really doesn't help at all. I live in an appartment so I have about a 22" lcd television. On screen the game gives you instructions... it was near impossible for me, or my friend, to read the letters on the screen. It took us so long to figure it out... and with the split screen and horrible movements... I was getting frustrated when we were still in the first level. By the time we made it to the second level I had such a headache from the strain on my eyes of trying to read the messed up font, that I was ready to call it quits.
The only positive thing I have to say about this game is the graphics looked nice... but it's an xbox 360... they always do.
I would love to say that this game was a lot of fun... but sadly.... it wasn't even worth my $3.72 to rent it for the night. :(
I shall continue my search for a worthy game for my friends and I.

Poor AI, ugly pointless language, bad hitboxes and a lame story... I didn't like this game.

Terrible

I own 34 games, which include the Burger King games, Beuwolf, and this is the worst of them all. At least I knew going in what I was getting with the others. Why buy this when you can instead flush your cash down the toilet and save time on shipping.

Run, run away from this god-awful "game"

UGH !!! mind numbng pile of warmed over "been there, played that" festering gutter trash ever to curse the earth.EIDOS drags out their newest puddle of hobo vomit in the form of a disc called "Kane and Lynch" ,this is not a rental, not even if given away in a happy meal should any one defile their XBOX with this cancer to the world of gaming.
Storyline......God awful
Graphics.......Bleeding eyes horrible
Sound..........Scretching cat noise
Gameplay.......Chop your thumbs off now, save the trouble
Overall DO NOT buy/play this garbage ,there is more fun to be found in the burn unit of a childrens hospital ! Thats how bad it is !!!!!!

Could have been so much better.

This is one of those games that could have been so very much better. Too bad. If you have to play it, I recommend testing it out by rental first. Definitely not worth the money otherwise.

How Not To Make A Game

I bought a copy of this and Ive never - not ever been so insulted with how a product has disappointed, no disgusted me in the shear depths of boredom and mediocrity. The graphics are of PS2 standard - the level architecture is paramount to retard spaghetti. (Ive just made that up I know but it just seems so apt).

I can only assume the publishers of this game hate gamers?

Why do you hate me?
