This is a great set for Law and Order game fans. I like being able to solve cases myself, and the games keep on getting better with each new game.

This is a great deal, seeing as how each game retails for $20 each and there's three games in here.

There are graphics intensive games, so make sure you have a good graphics card.

The main downside is that it's published by UbiSoft, who puts in copy protection software (which can suck if you have a rewritable drive - they don't mesh well together).

A Fun Game

I thought this game was really fun and I enjoyed playing it. I got hooked on this game and couldn't stop playing it for hours. For anyone who likes to solve stuff the is the game for it.

Don't waste your money!

Bought this game 3 days ago. BIG fan of L & O. At first there were black shapes diagonally across the screen in navigation mode. Called UBI Soft and was told I had to roll back my video driver. This entailed calling support at Nvidea and talking to some guy in India who I couldn't understand. He asked me if there was someone else at home he could talk to!!! Wanted to play so bad that I actually did this! Game worked for approximately 1/2 hour and crashed. Now my computer is so messed up - did something to Quick Time and Java I think. This game was exactly what I was looking for and I'm just sick that it won't play. My CPU far exceeded the requirements for this game.

just terrible

Love the show and love the game. I find it to be fun and challenging. I have had to use walkthroughs (http://www.quandaryland.com/jsp/dispArticle.jsp?index=673)to figure somethings out but overall, it rocks. I love being the detective and going to trail. It has to be a little difficult or it would not be fun. It is just like the show right down to the wise cracks. As for the computer requirements it says on the box Windows XP only. When buying computer games you really have to be careful and read the requirements carefully! As for the crashes this happens when you play games that require a lot of space and you do not have much left on your computer. Try running it with limited graphics and sound if you really want to play. Or, delete some old game on your computer your are not playing. Most people will not have problems

Great pack. Worth the money!

The game and its stories are excellent. I usually prefer games based on solving crimes. One big goof-up in the game that is inexcusable, considering that the Law and Order show itself is made with extreme care - the witnesses come to court in plain clothes and leather jackets. What the hell? Everyone who comes to court must be in suits. This is a major goof-up, as far as I am concerned. I am a big L&O show fan.

Same judge and same lawyer for two of the games? That is not really realistic. And what about confronting the defendant with newly gathered evidence to avoid the hassle of even going to trial? All these are shown in the show, but grossly ignored in the game. I also have to admit that leaving out the character Jack McCoy from the game was not a bright idea.

Law & Order without Jack McCoy is unimaginable. The show should and will continue without him at some point when he leaves, but while he is still on the show, he should have been included in the game. Detective Greene comes only in one of the games. Anita Van Buren is left out of "Justice is Served." There is no appropriate reason for leaving these characters out. After all, these are animated characters. There is no need to depend on the actors/actresses themselves. And who in God's name is Northcut and that other district attorney? Where's Arthur Branch or Nora?

Another flaw of the game - if you have windows vista, the first two games don't work well. The game keeps quitting unexpectedly very often. If you do not save regularly, you will get really frustrated. There were no technical flaws noted with "Justice is Served," however.

With that being said, is the game still good? I still think it is great. It is a lot of fun to play it. The stories are really good. But, the next time they make an L&O game, I hope they make it more realistic, and more closely along the lines of the show. And, I seriously hope they do not leave characters like Jack McCoy and Anita Van Buren out of the game.

won't work with vista!!!

Am a microsoft certified specialist. My computer exeeds recommended requirements. I'll be dipped if I can get this to run!! Game not only chokes and freezes, but it changes my desk top settings with each attempt (real pain). "Read Me" and UBI Support (oxymoron) NO help... Would be better entertained taking $$ paid for this set out back, setting it on fire, and watching the flames!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!
